I am still waiting on UPS to drop off my copy. Those motherfuckers take forever. :(

Gonna rent it this weekend. Played the demo was not that impressed. Been a fan of the series though so I figure I will give it a shot

That one is kick ass. I still play it from time to time. The mercenaries mode is the best.

Looks more like an action movie. It seems they have moved away from the suspense they had in the earlier ones.

lost my interest in the series quite a while ago. but i'll probably check this one out.

I might check it out. I sold as many copies as I ordered, so that's a good thing.

I'm still hooked on Left 4 Dead. Moved myself back to the PC just because that's where the first expansion content will show up.

Picked it up at midnight last night at my local GameStop. Brought it home, popped it in, and promptly fell asleep before I even saw my first zombie (not because of the game, I was just really tired). Finishing up my "todo" list for the day so I can give it another shot later.

RE 4 had the best controls ever. This one is a little weird controls wise and pisses me off a bit.

Spent about 20 minutes playing with it a few hours ago. I didn't play 4, so this is all new to me.

Amazing visuals and some pretty tight controls so far.

The trailers looked awesome. But the controls in the demo were so damn clunky I doubt I could enjoy this game. Might try it when the price goes down and there is a new game dry spell.

I'm willing to bet L4D still kicks it's ass.

Hell yeah there's nothing better than being a puking zombie in L4D :)

RE5 looks pretty good, but they seem to moving farther away from zombies actually acting like zombies.. they were talking to each other in the demo :helpme

Just bought a Super Nintendo btw, my old one got "borrowed" so now I have zelda and super metroid etc, fucking awesome!

No, I'm with you on that one. RE1 was the best, with RE2 not too far behind.

I actually just rented it and played a few moinutes of it to check out the lay of the land and such, very nice graphics...

Seems hard already... within the first encounter...

L4D is cool as hell but not as cool as played out to be...

you can beat the game without even trying... I ran through it with complete ease...

on what difficulty?

unless you've breezed your way through all 4 campaigns on expert 'without even trying' don't even start talking about how easy it is.

Yes there's a few cheats and shortcuts, but play it through without using them.

Might buy it today or tomorrow. Been buying all sorts of games for the PS3 lately, don't know when i'll get the time to play them all.

I've heard it's not as good as Resident Evil 4, but i guess everyone will have their own opinions on that. I did like the demo!

They should make a new version of Resident Evil 1 with the same enviroment but better graphics and bigger.

Didn't they do that ? It came out on Gamecube i believe ??
