PROGRAMS you will NEVER INSTALL on your pc again

For various reasons, mainly trying to hijack all my other settings / preferences, even though they were told not to, especially fucking with my ports:

ICQ
Real Player
Quicktime
Adobe Acrobat

List away.

I'm amazed you were the only one mentioning it... AOL was installed on millions of machines, and removing it took a degree in engineering... :2 cents:

Realplayer and Quicktime are the single two programs I hate the most. I like spyware better

rowan 05-18-2009 09:52 AM

Java. Had to reinstall it in order to use KVM-over-IP, haven't rebooted since, then it tried to launch when I was uploading some photos to Facebook. There are two completely blank windows open (literally nothing but the title bar and a white screen) with the java icons showing in the task bar. My browser locked up until I managed to fiddle around and find a hidden window. COmputer is generally running slower, eg click on something and it takes a second or two to respond. Can't figure out which process is Java in order to kill it off.

Embedded Java + Mozilla = bad news. I haven't figured out how to only install it for IE. Next reboot it's getting uninstalled again.
