What the hell happened to moniker support?

They use to answer support tickets at least within a day. I've had a support ticket open for 7 days with no response and I've seen other ppl here bitching about it. Yes I know contact bari on icq or call which I'm going to do, but their ticket response time sure is sucking. :2 cents:

who 06-07-2009 05:49 PM

contact bari on icq.

GAMEFINEST 06-07-2009 05:50 PM

moniker support sucks balls,

hit up [email protected]

Iron Fist 06-07-2009 06:18 PM

LOL.... kind of sad when you have to have friends just to get support. Glad I never have to worry about that.

Correct.

It has been that way for a minimum of 2-3 years now.

I've put in a fair amount of tickets sometime last year. They answered in about a day usually, which is fine if it's not a big problem. But 7 days? WTF?

HorseShit 06-07-2009 06:32 PM

pretty sad when some competitors have live support chat.

Which do both of you use? If I found a better place I'd move my domains but most other big registrars have their own problems. I used namecheap for awhile but I'm done with them.

Hey Cess - I'm sorry for the delay! Email me the help ticket number and I'll jump on it first thing in the morning.

Thanks

Sorry, I use GD... never needed support for any domain related issues, which over the last 5 years, never had any problems. Of course, Your Milage May Vary. :2 cents:

Yep, I moved everything away from them a little under 2 years ago when their support all of a sudden went non existent. I'm sure though we'll see an appearance by Daddyspambucks telling us all how they are the best registrar out there.

moniker rocks

Domain Diva 06-08-2009 07:50 AM

I have accounts with both GoDaddy and Moniker and both offer a great service ...If anything could be improved/added ....a Moniker 24-7 phone support service would be cool .:)

DaddyHalbucks 06-08-2009 09:16 AM

I have always had great service at Moniker.

st0ned 06-08-2009 09:54 AM

I have never submitted a support ticket but Bari has always promptly responded to any questions I had via email.

Ding ding ding, right on cue. If you've always had great service Moniker then you haven't needed Moniker support.

They fired a lot of people when the global crisis struck.

They aren't as good as they're hyped up to be.

Find a different registrar. :2 cents:

Agent 488 06-08-2009 10:24 AM

it's a truism that if there is a company that everyone on gfy is praising turn around and run the fuck away as fast as possible.

Yeah I'm looking around. I have over 100 domains, you'd think they could answer a really simple question for me. I emailed bari and still no response.

That sounds not cool :(

I was going to use them more, now I am confused ...7 days? this is not acceptable... even godaddy responds within a few hours..

rowan 06-09-2009 09:48 AM

Hmm... I'm also waiting on a reply from support, but it's only been about 30 hours so far...

Godaddy has absolutely the worse customer service that I have EVER encountered. Although I have never had any issues with Moniker I am thinking of submitting a ticket to see if what everyone says is true. If it is the case I will probably stop the process of moving my portfolio there.

HorseShit 06-09-2009 10:58 AM

As much as I hate Godaddy, they definitely don't have the worst CS.

Domain Diva 06-09-2009 12:05 PM

I agree with baddog and Justin ,you can love or hate godaddy based on your experiences but thier toll free 24-7 customer service/tech support is exellent even at 3am on a Sunday.

cess 06-09-2009 11:51 PM

Still no reply. :disgust

Dunno ..I have these numbers...seem different but no idea if they all merge to one central location.

Snapnames Support : +1 (866) 690-6279 or +1 (503) 241-8547

Moniker Support : Toll-free: 1-800-688-6311

cess ...maybe call Moniker direct ? or have you tried that already .....

Jdoughs 06-10-2009 01:37 PM

If you need or want to talk to a real human being or have legitimate questions to ask before moving domains, do not pick Moniker.

I tried several times to get someone to speak about transfering all my domains and was never answered.

Bari, you were emailed, and ICQ'd.

They need to let you go and hire someone who gives a fuck.

No need to get defensive either, just search this board for your own name, and see how many people have been completely ignored by you.

Bari answers me normally within 30 seconds, and withing 3 mins whatever I needed is done. Are you sending icq's starting with "you bitch" or something? lol The only time I had an issue was when I couldn't get logged in once and had just moved and my ip was diff. I called in and had the issue fixed withing a few minutes. Between them and godaddy or any one else Ill stick with them. :2 cents:
