only reason i got a Mac was because of all the spyware and viruses i've had - i'll surf the Net and download crap with the Mac and work on a PC.

my hard drive got zapped on monday, everything totally corrupted, costing me almost a grand for data recovery. i have no proof but i think all the spyware and viruses i've been cleaning out for 2 years almost constantly had something to do with it - the dude fixing it says no tho. cheesey Samsung hard drives.

Mac rocks! i have an Macbook pro:) no spyware.. no virusess and much faster then Windows!

nothing is as fast a true I-7 core, mac is still on the nalem xeon so mac is a still behind

It takes two physical nalem xeons in a mac to compete with one I-7 core in a PC

Hey Mutt, all joking aside, it takes some time to adjust, really frustrating at first but then 6 mos. down the line you'll be on your friends PC and realize how happy you are that you switched.:2 cents:

Your clearly clueless. its the same core in each chip. Xeon version has more cache.

What he said. I've yet to have a PC problem with any PC laptop i've owned but I keep the updates needed on whatever to ensure that. I have a MAC at the office I've attempted to manuever... I work on my laptop PC at work is all i'm sayin...:winkwink:

i have vmware on my macair, but i also run virtualbox.. its free (from Sun),
