and if you buy that its a data center move, i would suggest you be on the look out for reps from iporn.com something tells me theyll want to talk to you asap about selling you some traffic.

You can have an exact mirror set up in siberia and have a flawless switchover.
Also, moving to a new datacenter wouldnt account for the slowness.
I am not rushing to judgement, but anyone who takes hours and hours to move something is in the wrong business. And why would they move during a skinned event where the advertiser spent 26k. Nope.

Good points plus..If they had a planned move that obviously could result in some possible downtime..why no pre event sticky post on the front page announcing the possible downtime? That's forum admin 101...

Okay, I normally like drama however I do not think you guys know what is involved. GFY and the adult programs are not small programs. If I were to judge I would guess there is prob at least 100 servers in operation and if they had to move to a new data center the equipment was prob shipped. If you do your homework the trace routes from a week ago have indeed changed. If indeed they did move they did not have time to transfer the data and it is prob no fault of there own. It is clear that whomever they host with is having routing issues on top of that I can guarantee at least 1/4th of the servers would have some sort of hard drive and or other hardware issues. This is not a kid operation folks and if they had time to transfer data to new equipment I am sure they would of done so.
