Wikileaks claims to have obtained and decrypted video that shows US occupying forces in an Apache helicopter intentionally firing on a dozen civilians in Baghdad, including journalists working for the Reuters news organization: 22-year-old Reuters photographer, Namir Noor-Eldeen, and his driver, Saeed Chmagh, 40.

In this case, it's the United States and the United States military who are the terrorists. Not those fighting against them on their own land. Those people are not "insurgents" they are freedom fighters. Imagine if Russia invaded the USA today. American civilians would group and fight against them. You would not be an insurgent for doing so. You would be a hero, fighting for your freedom and your country. Flip the coin and let America be the invader, then everyone who fights back is labeled a terrorist.

Yes this is a tragedy, but the other million iraqi's and afgani's were all terrorists.

But about this whole thing in general, the whole war on terrorism. I guess one of those things people are bound to have strong opinions on, some stronger than others, but for me I seen it from the inside out while most everyone sees it from the outside in. If that makes sense lol.

I agree with you, most on this board won't though. They still think we're in iraq to liberate the people. Americans are just used to america policing the world, and never think of what it would be like if another country invaded america. That'll all come to an end soon.. cause america is bankrupt and the economy is gonna crash big time.

This is why you never fight a war unless you have to.

Terrible things happen in war, good people are pushed to the brink and do terrible things. It's not their fault, but that's how it is. A generation is lost to the violence and the lasting effects of growing up in a war zone. Soldiers and their families deal with the effects for decades after they come home.

The effects of one year of war can last for a hundred years.

Why politicians think that you can have a "clean" war is beyond me. With such dire consequences for everyone involved, a civilized society should only consider war as last resort.

Before you you make any more silly assertions like that, why don't you do yourself a favor and read up a little bit on what life was like in Afghanistan when the Taliban was in control.

At 3:40 there are two guys at the top, one clearly has a gun and one clearly has a rpg. Earlier in the vid when one guy was saying "he definitely has a weapon" while the gunner was looking at the dude with the camera (his view), and the pilot was talking. If your a reporter, why hang with dudes in broad daylight that are strutting around with guns?

Yeah, you're right some of them clearly had weapons. But should we kill everyone? No. And we sure as fuck shouldn't of killed the people trying to help the wounded.

I dunno, if I was in a coptor and they knew I was there and they had an rpg, I would fire. About the wounded, yeah, grey area, that rpg was still live tho. And they should not have kids in a warzone either. It's def shitty to see, but so are the 99.99999999999999% of the other videos over there.

If Iraqi helicopters were circling around your Toronto neighborhood and killing people you and your Canadian friends would probably be out there with guns and RPGs too...
