Muscle Heads? Anyone try or use the Nitric Oxide supplement Force Factor?

well I'm back in the gym for summer..
skinny and fat at the same time just aint gonna fly. ;)

Curious if anyone has a good or bad review of FF...

love to hear it..

dyna mo 04-27-2010 05:09 PM

i have not tried it, what about it catches your eye?

i've used n0xplode, superpump250, and jack3d.

Adam X 04-27-2010 05:35 PM

well, ok I got roped in from a yahoo ad I saw..
I like the comparison chart of its closest competitors.. noxplode being one.
I don't like caffeine which is not present in FF but its in NoXplode.. and force factor is in capsule form instead of powder.. easier to take.

Reading some bad reviews on GNC.. but then there are other guys (that don't seem
to be fake reviews) that show great gains and benefits.. I think it just depends on the individual, diet, etc.

TMM_Vlad 04-27-2010 09:34 PM

NO-Xplode or super pump 250..you will need to take a ton of pills to get the same effect with force factor. Plus that chart makes no sense, it compares nitrous oxide with whey products lol

GAMEFINEST 04-27-2010 09:44 PM

i dont try any of that...

papill0n 04-27-2010 09:49 PM

The nitric oxide molecule is a free radical, which is relevant to understanding its high reactivity.

brentbacardi 04-27-2010 09:57 PM

Ehh not a big NO fan, great pumps but they all make me feel queasy and light headed for some reason.

Angry Jew Cat - Banned for Life 04-27-2010 10:33 PM

ForceFactor pays $34/lead, thus they get all the checkmarks... :1orglaugh

tiger 04-27-2010 11:36 PM

So creatine is bad now? I must have missed when that changed.

LoveSandra 04-28-2010 01:46 AM

it`s fucked up

pradaboy 04-28-2010 01:54 AM

Dude any NO supplement is way overrated, here's what you do:

- work your ass off in the gym
- eat like an animal (but clean)
- sleep

rinse & repeat

XPays 04-28-2010 01:59 AM

http://nonadult.com has a killer new male muscle offer paying $35/free join if you mention GFY

Adam, I've tried a lot of NO products. Some work well -- FOR ME -- and some don't. Some work great for a short time then the benefits seem to wane. The thing I use to determine if a product is "good" for me or not: how much weight I can push in the gym on a given product.

For example, if I go in without taking an NO product I can do incline benches with 65# dumbbells. If I take NOExplode I can easily push 70's for the same sets/reps. When I first tried Jack3d I could easily push 75's! But then my results on Jack3d began to wane.

SuperPump250 did NOTHING -- for me.

I seem to get consistent results using NO Explode and NO Shotgun (has creatine and 20g protein per serving). And in my experience, it's silly to say these products have no benefit...if you're pushing more weight, you're getting stronger. Getting stronger = growing. A good thing.

Experiment...and avoid the ultra-expensive shit. I won't try Force Factor. I already have stuff in my arsenal that works. Also, I add creatine to my NO shot every pre-workout (provided there's no creatine in my NO product of choice that day). You can buy 500g of creatine for under $15 -- that's 100 servings! No need for the "designer" shit :2 cents:

Choopa Phil 04-28-2010 06:38 AM

get white blood by controlled labs if you dont want the stimulate effect of caff.

dyna mo 04-28-2010 07:33 AM

my preworkout n0 mix

1 scoop jack3d
1 scoop superpump 250
1 scoop purple wraath
2 scoops glycergrow
2 scoops con-kret

intra-workout is
1 scoop intrain
2 scoops glycergrow

Alex_Manifest_Men 04-28-2010 08:13 AM

Most of these products will interact with you very differently than they might for someone else. Eating right, resting properly and using perfect form will get you where you want to be without spending huge amounts of money of OTC products. Trust and believe.

EscortBiz 04-28-2010 08:23 AM

train fst-7 style and take his new stuff

Adam X 04-28-2010 01:46 PM

great info in here.. thanks.. keep it comin

pradaboy 04-29-2010 08:14 AM

lol you people with the thousands of supplements are so funny, I bet 99% of you are either fat pieces of blubber or scrawny 100 pound kids.

bronco67 04-29-2010 08:56 AM

Watch out with NO supplements if you get cold sores. It has Arginine, which can agitate nerves and cause a breakout.

Other than that, they're great. I just got back on No_explode after a 2 year layoff, and I feel like motherfucking Superman at the gym.

in all honesty, the best info i could tell you is i think the n0 sups are over-rated. heck, even the guys at gaspari and controlled labs both say they have other products with better and more ingredients BUT they say the n0 product is popular.

they both suggest their intra-workout product, either sizeon or intrain. while i do notice a spike in *energy* or wtf ever it is, focus, etc. when i take my n0 i think with nutrition and MAYBE a caffeine tablet, i would get the same charge as i get from my n0. now i do think i get sustained energy from drinking the intrain and i also notice i get a crazy good pump when taking the glycergrow. in fact, i can't take the glycergrow on cardio days due to the muscle burn.

but the posters in here who suggest hard work in the gym and SUPER clean eating are the most correct. these are the crucial components and supplements add, what, 5% to results, maybe.

supplements arent going to help you much, take a multi vitamin (animal pak), keep your protein around 200+ grams a day and just lift heavy, 3 sets of 6 reps to failure, if you can make it past 6 reps move up 5lbs.

that animal pak is certainly chocked full of vitamins and such but dang, it's a bucket of pills to get down the hatch every day!

there's something to be said for keeping it basic like this.

I'dd add doing squats to that regimen. Nothing will wake up muscle fibers in your entire body like some ball rupturing squats.

Drop the isolation exercises and just do the basics.

I found they are easiest to take with a protein shake, It helps not get the texture of each pill, With normal water I sort of gag when taking them but with some milk and ON Whey I can take 2-3 of them at a time without really telling I am swallowing them.

Also I forgot to add to my post keep creatine levels high, Most supplements are worthless as they have no real scientific backing, Not company research I mean unbiased university research.

Robbie 04-29-2010 09:30 AM

Pretty much all over the counter supplements are useless these days. The only stuff that had a tiny bit of andro in it was quickly made illegal by big brother govt.

They have neutered out any effectiveness of workout supplements under the guise of "protecting" us stupid adults who can't make our own choices.

NO2 is supposed to make you feel and see a "pump". My guess is it's more in your own head and you could get the same pump on your arm from doing a hundred bicep curls real fast with a tiny 5 pound dumbell. And it would last just about as long too.

The best bet is to save your money at the supplement store and only buy protein powder and creatine. Then take the hundreds of dollars you saved on worthless pills and get yourself some real gear on the black market that actually works.

My suggestion would be to be safe and go with testosterone and if you can afford it...HGH.

That along with working out 4 times a week and not eating too many quarter pounders with cheese and you'll be feeling and looking like a million bucks.

Those supplements at GNC just don't do much. And they are expensive. Trust me, if they really worked...steroids wouldn't exist. Also if they really worked you can bet your ass the pharmaceutical industry would use their lobbyists to get it outlawed just like they did steroids and every supplement that has ever worked (most recently ephadrine and andro)

There are quite a few of those sites from countries where steroids are legal (most of the world except the "FREE" United States). I've bought from many of them and in the last 10 years I've never been disappointed or scammed. Though I'm sure there are some out there that are ripoff artists, once you get "in" that circle of folks it's a pretty tight knit community and those sites depend on their word of mouth reputation.

Never used that one...but I do know of a few real good ones that I will not post on GFY. The U.S. gestapo doesn't mind kicking down doors in other countries too. And that's the truth. Our govt. is so arrogant that we force our DEA agents down the throats of other sovereign nations.

Could you imagine the outcry here if another country sent THEIR law enforcement into the U.S. and started busting people in Georgia or New York? :(

Yeah, I got more legit sites also, But like you I wont post them, Napsgear is one of the legit ones, Based in Macedonia I think.

i dont use anyone

Choopa Phil 04-29-2010 09:53 AM

robbie if you dont think theres anything effective out OTC, i suggest not hitting up your typical bodybuilding.com, theres plenty of stuff out now. Purchasing online from overseas is dumb youre 100% correct but its pretty easy to find a usa source

Most of them have US infrastucture. So there is no intl shipping going on. And all of them have a delivery guarantee in case of seizure.

The biggest difference is this: I went to the doctor when I was 40 feeling like holy hell all the time (I'm 48 now). After a bit of tests being run...guess what? My test levels were low (like all men as they age). So I got a prescription for testosterone.

Of course like everything in the U.S. medical system...it's WAY overpriced. I mean like a HUGE markup from what every other country in the world prices it. And since it is 100% legal in almost every other country in the world...it was a no-brainer.

I could spend $300 a month with a prescription OR I can get the exact same thing for about $30 a month.

Good old pharmaceutical company and medical industy lobbyists working on our behalf hand-in-hand with Congress and The Senate. :(

well, i can say with absolute certainty that many supplements do work. they are not a replacement for smart training and eating but neither is gear.

My own experience has been that other than Protein and creatine...none of them work. Pills are of course processed by your liver and any ingredient that they MAY have had is changed.

Everybody has a different physiology of course. But if you are getting good results, I'd say it probably has a lot more to do with your workout and your diet than any over the counter pill. And if you were supplementing with real stuff you would be seeing an even greater result...in fact a MUCH greater result.

superdrol, pheraplex, epistane, dimethazine, halodrol, all OTC stuff that is pretty damn close to the "real deal" particularly superdrol/dimethazine
