What really sucks is that this thread will probably fill up with stupid post about
how "she deserved it".

Because we all know a paid vacation works better than jail time.

What's really amazing is that there is a police brutality case that makes national
news almost every other week yet some people still claim that there is no such
thing happening.

It doesn't even cross some peoples minds that many more cases of brutality are
not recorded on tape and the cases that we see are only the tip of the iceberg.

We live in a country full of blind idiots that will only see the light when they themselves
get beat into a fucking coma for jay walking.

To those that deny the reality of police brutality and reject the claims of those who
are brutalized; when you do finally get beat into a coma you will have actually deserved it.

sperbonzo 07-20-2010 07:22 AM

There was nothing justified in any way about their actions and they should be fired and convicted of excessive force.

.

Translation 07-20-2010 07:46 AM

So, apparently you guys all know what happened before the camera pulled up?

If so, please enlighten us.

raven1083 07-20-2010 07:47 AM

damn! that's fuck

_Richard_ 07-20-2010 08:03 AM

one of those guys had a great comment:

"Having "rights" should mean ACTUALLY HAVING RIGHTS, not just the right to (assuming you have the resources) to sue and maybe (if you happen to win) get a settlement years later... ...typically with no admission of wrong-doing."

Tom_PM 07-20-2010 08:07 AM

Typical of what passes for news articles these days, the linked article sheds no light whatsoever on the incident.

"US police taser old woman"

57 yr old teacher= old woman. Insult to injury was never more clearly defined than that.

it was probably "Rabid Granny - Part 2" when she tried to kill a couple of police officers by beating them with her frying pan...

seriously man, when police officers can't handle a 57 year old teacher who called them to help her then they have the wrong job. period.

but hey, your reply was exactly one of those i was waiting for. but i'm still missing the rest of the crowd.

They will continue to deny that the police ever do anything wrong. It's simply the way they are wired.

brassmonkey 07-20-2010 08:29 AM

im shocked! well she was :helpme :1orglaugh

Yeah, I see a brief paid vacation for those officers, and maybe a slap on the wrist. (doubt it though). Hopefully a good lawyer will see this and sue the fuck out of them.

Tom_PM 07-20-2010 08:41 AM

Does anyone know what really happened yet? I get she called thinking there was a prowler. And then we cut to her being tazered? Whats missing? lol

I mean, did they tell her to shut up and she wouldnt? Did she look like a prowler? Maybe she was simply outside and they ordered her onto the ground and she tried to say "I'm the one who called" and they zapped her for "resisting" or "not obeying"?

Exactly, haha!

I guess if we saw the whole footage then it might not have been such a big story. Not defending the cops here, but something is obviously missing...

True dat.... but I'm having a hard time imagining what a 57 year-old school teacher could have done to warrant multiple taserings while in the back of a cruiser. Maybe she came at them with a knife!

brassmonkey 07-20-2010 08:59 AM

The only thing missing is your fucking brain.

You just hate admitting that some White cops fucked up. Period.
If the cops were tazing a 57 yr old white women in the back seat of a patrol car
you'd be all up in arms; like a reasonable person.

Hentaikid 07-20-2010 09:41 AM

It's the police's own footage, if they had anything showing them in a better light they'd have released that too.

bronco67 07-20-2010 09:43 AM

Cops are too quick to use those things. The Taser has become an excuse for cops that are scared to get in there and handle their business the old fashioned way --with a little muscle. Any man that can't handle a 57 year old woman (regardless of guilt) shouldn't wear the uniform.

Tom_PM 07-20-2010 09:46 AM

Dude, you got the wrong guy seriously. I'm not making excuses or making statements and adding question marks to the end. I literally want to know what the details of this police call were? Did they drag the lady out of her house? How the hell did they get to the point where the video begins is what I want to know because it's so compelling. It's scary and unacceptable, depending on what happened.

I seriously doubt she posed any threat whatsoever even if she was screaming at them in a drunk haze or whatever the details are. The cops always pull out tazers and later claim they felt threatened. Well, thats not a reason to tazer a 57 year old school teacher who thought there was someone outside her house at night. Maybe it's a reason to tazer someone in some situation. Hard to believe in this one though.

BTW, I dont really care what color any of them is, it just appears totally unacceptable and one cop already resigned, so I want to hear just how fucked up it really was.

It just totally escapes your pea sized brain that the older cop is leaning
over the lady when the young cop arrives.

Does the old cop look like he is struggling? No idiot! He appears to simply be
standing over the lady doing almost nothing to her when the young
cops pulls up and walks right over and starts tazering the lady on the
ground. The old man is almost standing there like "WTF?".

Where was the "fight" this lady had with the young cop when she's already
on the ground when he gets there. The first cop there doesn't look like
he's even worried about the lady.

Maybe the older cop should keep his job, but "Rambo" needs to be fired.

You should put your head in the toilet and drown your fucking self for being so
blind to reality even when it's on tape.

You know what man, I'm really fucking tired of people like you.

You're a fucking facilitator.

You're the jackass on the jury that rejects all the police brutality cases and
therefore build a shield of protection for cops to abuse the rest of us.

The facilitator is the motherfucker a nigga really needs to get rid of.

We need to deport your fucking ass to some hell hole in Antarctica.

I'm really fucking tired of people like you buddy.

MaDalton 07-20-2010 09:55 AM

here's more to the story - surprisingly the victim is black and the cops are white.

According to CNN, she had a guest who was leaving when the police arrived and when asked the guests' name refused to give it to the cops. They interpreted that as 'Obstruction of Justice.'

I dont care who you're tired of, thanks.

You just fail to understand that I, in no way, excuse these cops of doing what they seem to be doing in this video.

Someone explain it to him.
