:mad CyberAge is dead (to me at least)

I've been locked out of my CyberAge webmaster account for 2 months now. I sent numerous emails to support, all of which went unanswered. I called last week and actually spoke to someone, who said he'd get back to me by email. He never did. I called again today and was told the person in charge of webmaster accounts was "on vacation". I called bullshit and told him to stop giving me the runaround, I wanted a straight answer about what was going on. He hemmed and hawed and I hung up in disgust. Too bad, CyberAge used to be a reputable and reliable AVS. No longer.

The AVS game is dead. CyberAge won't last if they can't find a way to change their business model and their recent attempts have not gone well. I wish I could share more stories I have been told, but they are not mine to share...

Good luck.

Are you calling the right company, next time just stop in. You can't miss our offices. You are on GFY and I'm sure you have seen me post here, why not just email me directly?

But if you are locked out, you maybe have broke the Terms and Conditions. But you would have got an email on it.

My email is below, send me your site id.

Thanks

Good luck.
If you don't start giving everything away for free, nothing will last in this business. But luckily we do still get a lot of new sales, and if I could show you the sites getting sales, you would be shocked. But I can't.

But I'm a business man, and I've always diversified. If CyberAge were to end today. My worst mainstream business would allow me to retire now.
I love to work, period.

I wonder if it's the "bad times" that make Programs find new ways to earn some extra.

One being suddenly closing accounts for "fraud" without telling the webmaster at all.

But of course they still take the traffic they say only were fraudulent signups.......

Note that we have nothing bad to say about Cyberage, they were top notch all the years we dealt with them.

Just haven't promoted any of their stuff in a long time.

...or in this case "deactivating" sites that appear inactive yet still have members joining and rebills.

It is one way to shore up profit margins...

Same here, I still get checks from them, not as much as they were, but every time. My very first porn site I ever built is still on CyberAge free host. I lost the FTP access to it so it still looks the same..LOL

I have loved Cyberage in public to a degree where it has almost been molestation. My sites still make sales and they are probably some of the seriously ugly ones Dave mentioned before. I just found a niche and owned it it and apparently people didn't care how crap they looked back then.

Called today and spoke with Robert or Robs, and he said he would email me a response after looking into my account to see why I have not been receiving checks as of late, and my webmaster password stopped working.

Message on the phone says to email wmsupport at tritech.org

hopefully I will finally hear back from someone. This is really disappointing...

To me it looks like CA and CSN decided to cut off some of their smaller webmasters. I was never a big fish, but I did have rebill accounts and made consistent sales. Obviously they wouldn't do this to someone making 100 sales a day ... but from what I have seen they are systematically locking webmasters out.

It would have been one thing if they manned-up and told us we were done. Instead, they delay and give us the run-around ... so we patiently wait with our sites still promoting them - making THEM money.

I gave it three months - since they claimed that things would get fixed. That's reasonable considering that I was with them and having a good experience since the year 2000. I trusted them.

Now what? I'm out all my rebill accounts and whatever sales I have made on my CA/CSN sites for three months. I live in Canada, it's not exactly like I can go to California and have anything done about this.

Thanks for the run, it was good while it lasted. Never got robbed by someone with multiple sports cars before.
