directnic and godaddy both fucking suck.

internet.bs is about the cheapest reputable registrar you'll find. Moniker, namecheap, name.com and dynadot are all cheaper than godaddy/directnic too.

Guess you missed the part where i said a bunch of domains.

$2x100... is worth it for me.

Call me cheap, but these days I'd like to not have to piss away money if I don't have to.

internet.bs has $7.45 transfers and $8.35 renewals. Doesn't get much cheaper than that, and they're a good registrar.

internet.bs, come on, seriously? they may be a good registrar, I have no idea, but with a name like that, I wouldn't be surprised at all if there was a rick roll on the checkout page...

yeah, but why spend time hunting for stupid coupons when you can get regular pricing at 8 bucks and not have to deal with a shitty registrar like godaddy?

i wouldnt risk saving a buck or two on a "dollar store" domain registrar. I'll pay the extra with GoDaddy knowing that I'm not going to wake up to find them shut down overnight

If you doing adult, I wouldn't feel the safest with godaddy from their previous tract record. I am looking for cheap (cheaper than I am paying now $10-$11.50) I am not looking for unreliable fly by night. There has to be some good credible companies that have been around for years that charge less than godaddy and directnic.

Thanks to everyone who has made suggestions.

Namecheap.. Get the code for a discount.. When you have over 50 domains, contact them for your "permanent" code for a discount.

If you're paying $10 at Godaddy, you're doing it wrong. They ALWAYS have renewal codes for .com's or pretty much any other ext for under $8.

Check out Name.com, decent prices and a good registrar, at least from my experience.

Fabulous.com, the more domains you have, the lower their price will be. Starting with their highest price of $9.45 and then it goes down from there, also includes free privacy.

I have been moving my 80+ domains from godaddy to namecheap this year not through any dis-satisfaction with godaddy over last 7 years, but because I have privacy on all domains and Namecheap give it for free.

I will still keep some of the more important ones at godaddy as I can't risk even a moment's downtime on a transfer and I like to see the counts of whois lookups on my domains, but paying godaddy $8.99 for privacy per domain when namecheap is free is stupid, and I am trying to become less stupid.

I use Name.com due to their near-instant DNS updates, one-time-password logins [so your account doesn't get phished], and knowlegeable technical support with little hold times. They're new registrations start resolving almost instantly.

$9.99 domains + Free Whois w/ coupon.

namecheap + coupons

if you have over 50 domains with them, they'll give you a special coupon that is good for registering and renewing.
