They basicly (very basicly) copy each other to get a LOT of content. From there once G gives you love (TOUGH) then all you need is adsence or doubleclick ect. And feed the masses all the same pablum when they search for "pain in ankle" ect.

That is indeed where I see money made but those guys have long fought for those se spots and it wont be easy to join them in those areas. (medical, how to) But there are a lot of areas of course.

They are decent sites too which is why G gives them love. So it is a big league game for those kinds of spots.

But there are a lot of spots. Basicly publish anything abstract and it will get hits from G. But you need shitloads of pages of course to make any money. And it cant be cookie cutter. So good luck. But any page you write will get some hits.

Some guys wilth 30,000 posts would be better with a 30,000 page site somewhere but what is the fun in that.

the Panda Update:

So seems like a good thing for the guy who works on original sites.

While were at it there was this one f'n guy who just barely beat me in 2004 for all the good terms like "reality kings" "footsie babes" all max cash sites were gold in them days. But this bastard had them all. I had maybe 2%. It was a good time on the 2%.

I love DD, he paid me at $50 when the minimum was $100. (without my asking) And as anyone who does me well, I pay recurring advertising for years.

I still might try a few hits at CWC sometime in more earnest. Maybe that is the site to throw a buttload of foreign traffic at.
