Do cardio, no do just weights, eat more carbs, no don't eat carbs, eat fats, etc... Besides the fact that no one agrees (mainly because most programs are trying to sell their system and they have to be different then the other programs), i think a lot comes down to what works for different people is different things. One thing might work like gold for someone who is in shape and looking to get more tone then what would work for someone looking to drop 20 pounds and get into better shape etc. The one thing I noticed from all of the P90X before and after pictures is that most people were just a little over weight (10-20 pounds) and already in ok shape, had muscle tone etc... I didn't see many people who were already very buff nor did I see many who were fat. So it fit my situation exactly. I want to drop 20 pounds (was 206, currently 200 and I would like to get down to 185). I am already in pretty decent shape and have muscle tone. Just need to shed those couple pounds and shape up what I have better.
