I work from home so it's easy. But even if I didn't I don't think it would be that hard. Wake up eat some egg whites and turkey bacon 8am. 12pm eat 1/2 your lunch. 4pm eat lunch leftovers, 9pm eat very light dinner. If you stay up like me late (3am) then around midnight eat an energy bar. Even if I worked out of an office or for someone else, that wouldn't be hard to do.

The one thing I learned looking into this stuff is that everyone has different things they swear by. Eat several times a day, small portions vs only eat once a day. Do cardio, no do just weights, eat more carbs, no don't eat carbs, eat fats, etc... Besides the fact that no one agrees (mainly because most programs are trying to sell their system and they have to be different then the other programs), i think a lot comes down to what works for different people is different things. One thing might work like gold for someone who is in shape and looking to get more tone then what would work for someone looking to drop 20 pounds and get into better shape etc.

The one thing I noticed from all of the P90X before and after pictures is that most people were just a little over weight (10-20 pounds) and already in ok shape, had muscle tone etc... I didn't see many people who were already very buff nor did I see many who were fat. So it fit my situation exactly. I want to drop 20 pounds (was 206, currently 200 and I would like to get down to 185). I am already in pretty decent shape and have muscle tone. Just need to shed those couple pounds and shape up what I have better.

that's exactly my point- consistency and sticking to it are key, find out what works best in that way and make your life easy. i find it easier to eat foods i like and enjoy and i also like to partake in social eating/drinking. 5-6 meals a day interferes with that while intermittent fasting lends itself to that. hell i'm eating pancakes, whole eggs, whole milk, butter, all the fun stuff and drinking alcohol and my bf is still sub 10% after 5 weeks.

i still plan on doing a round of insanity in a couple months though, i like to check these programs out for myself.

my personal goal is to just eat 90% right now for nutritional value, not for the mere enjoyment of eating good food, and foods that I like. I want to get to a place I am happy with, weight/muscle tone. Then once there I will crank up the enjoyment eating, as long as my working out cancels out a little bad eating I will loosen up the reigns. If I start to lose shape or gain weight, I cut back more and get it under control... that's the plan anyway
