People nowadays have lost all sense of respect for anything, let alone a cop.
It's like we are witnessing a total break down of humanity. That woman was wrong, plain and simple. All of the people crying police brutality are the first one to call 911 and pee their pants while waiting for the cops to arrive to save them...

The girl was drunk and probably not too bright either, but the fact of the matter is that the cop smacked her first.

More importantly, the whole incident started because the cops thought the girls were talking too loudly. Unless the restaurant manager complained about such, the cops would have done far better to leave well enough alone and just laugh it off.

I mean, how much of a threat to the community do a few loudly chattering girls in an all night restaurant really represent?

Contrary to your post, the person that is GETTING ARRESTED is allowed to know why... Not any old person that happens to be standing there... and officers are instructed, especially in a crowded, high-tension situation, to first get the person being detained under control, and the situation handled, prior to then telling the person being detained what they are being detained for. This is for the safety of both the officers and the person being arrested.

The main problem with those tasers is that somehow people seem to think that it is ok for police officers to use them to administer pain as a form of punishment (a punishment not chosen by the courts but by the police officers themselves) or as a way to force people to act in a certain way.

She had her hand on his back for some time - he glanced over at her a number of times and eventually slapped her. Her reaction is pretty much a natural defence mechanism ie fight back.

What I find crazy is these girls drew the police attention for being noisy? They must have been making some hell of a noise in that restaurant - sounded like everyone was talking pretty loud.

The biggest problem with police is a lack of intelligence and videos like this show how stupid some police are. When you have to scrape the bottom of the gene pool to find employees this is what you end up with.

He could have simply left if all she was doing was being loud or he could have asked to speak to her outside or asked her to keep it down etc etc a million and one options to choose from for those with an IQ over 45.
