I think something is wrong with my brain

besides thinking I have sleep apnea, I've noticed that im super tired, not really motivated to do anything and my memory is going.

Im not depressed, but I just feel like I'm worn out... which could easily be true. I wake up feeling fine but right now its like someone took a piece of my brain and I can't recall shit. I was just writing an email and half way through forgot what I was writing about

This just started happening not to long ago, then I start to wonder does it have something to do with my house? there was high amounts of Radon but I had a kit installed to remove the gas. Maybe there is lead in the water? Maybe an alien is putting his alien wiennie in my ear when I am sleeping and its poking my brain causing me to be a ratard?

I just had a physical exam where I described the same symptoms and the doctor ordered a sleep study to see if I have sleep apnea. So what you're thinking may just be the case. Tell your doc!

Yeah, I meant 2nd St. in Harrisburg. You've asked me in like 3 different threads where in PA I'm at, but never posted in any of them after I answered. lol

I'm over in Mechanicsburg. I haven't been downtown in Harrisburg in awhile....I think the last time was seeing From Dissension at the G-Man in Strawberry Square, and they broke up at least a year ago.

Probably your adrenal glands. Causes memory issues, fatigue, overall feeling of being ill (not depressed), mood swings, etc.

Your adrenal glands take care of your hormones. You probably have a lack of cortisol in your body. Have your hormones checked. NOT a blood test but a saliva test.

Also causes intolerance for some/a lot of foods which increases the bad feelings.

Good luck

I recommend taking more breaks during the day, get a hobby during work hours, instead of getting up and working in the morning, change it to some other morning ritual. Don't work on the weekends or only work on hobby stuff.

In short, your brain is having technology fatigue and it needs something else to stimulate it.

In recent months I've taken up learning new things, currently I'm working on building my own ac generator and I'm trying to introduce my kids to something new each week day, yesterday we made an antenna for the tv in the play room - watching kids bend copper wire as it comes back around and smacks them in the head, is pure entertainment.

Another vote for thyroid problem. I have hypothydroid/hashimoto and I have to take pills otherwise I get all depressed and shit like that too. If you thyroid turns out to be fine (check TSH, T3, T4, Anti-TPO), then I suggest implementing 1-1.5hrs of ps3 into your daily routine.

i have the same problem occasionally. A lot of that sounds like sleep deprivation, whether it is sleep apnea or you spending too much time on the laptop at night only you would know, but I have gone through both and that is almost always the cause of it.

One thing that has really worked well for me lately is I have started doing some laps in the pool again. Something about the forced breathing really seems to open up the airways and I find myself breathing better and sleeping better. It could be a bit from the fatigue too, but either way I feel a lot better and that's only after 3 days of doing it.. can't hurt to try it out anyway....well as long as you are able to swim

I remember asking you before if you've been out walking in the woods or in long grass. Ticks give you lyme disease which does that stuff to you, so get a check for lyme disease or something.

Update: so i called my doctor and they said to come in for a check up and the doctor will decide if the tests are needed but they should be able to find out with a "simple" blood test.

NO! i repeated 3 different times that is not what I want and I want to get these tests to ensure that I am ok, not have to schedule 10 different appointments and take half days off work to go there.

I'm thinking of changing doctors!

Again, have your hormones checked. Don't need a doctor for that, plenty of private firms that do it for you.

Over here you can't even get a saliva hormone test at the doctor, all they do is bloodwork. Bloodtests for your hormone levels are as good as useless.
