Here is a kick ass monitoring script if you want to get stts on your websites or servers, and it's free: http://sourceforge.net/projects/phpservermon/

It's probably an old server in which case ask to be moved or a oversold network let's hope it's the first.

good idea, but what if the server the script is on is troublesome? sounds like this has to be at another host

I just got an Amerinoc server not too long ago when they had the special going on. I don't have the exact numbers on hand, but I'm pretty sure the up-time is 99.95% or better...

My up-time is at least 99.99%. If it wasn't, I wouldn't have stayed with them for 10+ years and counting. Amerinoc rocks
