I drink about 7-8 cups of coffee a day with no sugar or anything put into it...it no longer wakes me up like it used to

I used to be able to have 2 cups and be wired to get some work done.

starbucks is a horrible choice IMO...

If you truly want to experience coffee... start with a fresh brewed folgers. then get a mocha or something from starbucks. Have a friend make you a keurig cup... then... try some cloth sifted mountain man coffee made in a pot over a stove...

do all those... experience them all... Then... go to a store where they sell different sorts of beans and roasts. Smell through them. Find one or two that intrigue you. Grind them there if you dont have a grinder at home...a ssuming not if you dont even know what it tatses like... Fuck it... buy a grinder and a french press... you wont look back at any of those other coffees. Take your beans, grind them. boil your water (not quite boiling) and press your own...

Having lived in Central America, I can tell you with some authority, Tim Hortons is shitty coffee. Get yourself a passport, travel outside of Canada and get some life experience of your own. The coffee in gas stations in Costa Rica is better than Tim Horton's.

That's not too bad, normally people get a double shot, and often a triple for a large drink. There's actually a bit less caffeine in espresso than drip coffee because the water is forced through quickly much gets left behind. That being said, 4 shots will get you going
