You guys/girls selling content in USA need to learn from Dutch content sellers.

I won't give names, and don't know what's wrong with you guys in USA, but every single US content providers I deal with, I have very bad support... They just don't care about their clients, IT SEEMS... Maybe I was just unlucky, and there are a few USA content sellers that know how to treat their clients.

Try to learn from the Dutch content providers they really know how to deal with their clients.

That's what I wanted to say.

Everytime one of my friends or collegues ask me where to buy content I will always send them to the DUTCH or other EUROPEAN content providers.

Period.

dude, if i had $5 for every time a potential american client came to me and demanded to have a boy/girl shot for $800 because over here everything must be cheap, i would have retired by now

I am trying to order from a USA CONTENT PROVIDER.

Today is the 4th time I ask them the question:

"Will you provide me with 2257 of these picture SETs?"

and they don't answer that question... NEVER EVER.

What's wrong with them?

I include that question in several emails where I ask them a few questions, including that 2257 info, and they ALWAYS answer ther other quesiton but never ever answer the 2257...

Until they don't answer I wont complete the ORDER.

Is it really necessary to trash talk an entire nation over some bad support experiences?

How many bad experiences was it just so we can know? Less than half a dozen expriences or more than a full dozen? Also, what defines poor support for the sake of the thread?

It's very hard to sit here and take it seriously without any actual real world examples.

One persons reply is NOT a reason to not do business with an entire nation.

Have had a lot of bad experiences with US content providers.. listing one by one is useless, but if you want I give you another bad experience some years ago where I bought some licensed picture sets and one month after, I have the girl of the picture set contacting my site to tell me that she gave no authorization to use her image..

And I didn't order from some private unknown guy.. they had a known site online with ordering system and all..

the content provider didn't answer and some time later they just dissapeared... And this is just another bad experience, it makes no sense to list one by one, but I can tell you I had many...

I would never open a thread like this just because I had 1 bad experience.

Just sayin...

kinda sucks when what you are looking for is AMERICAN PRODUCED CONTENT, and not the usual boring euro porn.

there used to be a few companies doing content on high level, matrix comes to mind but seem to recall a few others.
in reality the content bulk business is not really profitable in the US (unless the content is stolen or otherwise illegal).

Have you talked to me? I don't think so. Most producers provide great customer service, it sounds like you have dealt with a few bad apples.

I shot half of the Tushy Cash content to exact specs on over 2000 scenes signed, sealed, and delivered on time with all docs and ID's withoput a hitch. Pretty sure you're mistaken there. The current regs allow for 3rd party 2257 records keepers. As such, a content provider may choose to act as the 3rd part for their clients.

Why are you even considering dealing with a company that doesn't reply to emails. Especially about 2257? Unless they have something so bloody marvelous that you can't get it anywhere else. Find a different supplier.

Very true, selling something I shot 20 years ago at the moment.

Aaron, very risky to go that route, best to have the documents filed away and in case of an emergency they're where the buyer can get them right away. And check them before he publishes. 2257 documents provide/cover a lot more than the law of keeping 2257.
