I think one reason murder is down that they left out is that medical technology has skyrocketed in the last 20 years. These days they save many people who wouldn't have had a chance at survival 20 years ago.

Really it's down? We had shootings/murders almost everyday a few months ago in Lexington. and I heard Louisville was even worse...
