Traffic Buying Strategy?

Hi,

When you buy traffic, I suppose you test it first with a limited amount of visitors. What do you look at when you rate the traffic? Bounce rate / Number of pages a visit/ Time on site?

What is supposed to be the goal of traffic buying? Monetize the returning visitors or do you monetize your traffic directly (I mean when the campaign is done you have earned what you have paid)?

What are the strategies ?

How about you figure out what the fuck you wanna know first, THEN ask a pertinent and specific question about that?

I hope you realize you'll need at least a 15 page thread to cover the basics of the different aspects of different strategies and tactics.

Step 1) Define goal.

Step 2) Map out strategies to reach goal.

Isn't the goal always to have more visitors on your site? And traffic buying a tool to reach this.

Sorry I'm new to traffic buying.. Always focused on SEO traffic

The goal of traffic is always the same, isn't it?

The goal is to make money 99% of the time. If you want more visitors to your site, let me know and I'll send you a few million Chinese visitors a day. :-)

YOU set YOUR own goals. That's the point.

Some people want to make money. Others want to spread the word of Christ. Others want to introduce as many people as possible to the wonderful world of midget wheelchair races.

You'll never get where you want to end up if you don't know where that is.

That's like going to a hardware store and asking "What's the best strategy for using a screwdriver?"

The goal is definitely making money.. Let me ask it differently: What is your strategy to maximize the return revenue on bought traffic?

1. Know what you're selling
2. Know how to sell it
3. Know your margins
4. Appeal to the end users desires in the most effective way possible

You should have no problem with all 4.
