So this is similar to the old p2p where you could download different parts of a file from different peoples computers who had already down loaded it, Except the files will be on different servers with this new Cloud based p2p sharing

exactly... can't raid a companies servers if files are literally partially hosted in multiple countries. Technically they can just pull the domain, but that doesn't prevent from having secondary domains and multiple IP address. going back to thepiratebay example they use multiple .tlds all registered in different countries. right now around the world cloud hosting requires deep pockets which is good prevents a lot of shady site from trying to duplicate what MegaUpload and ThePirateBay are doing

Then various mitigation strategies can decapitate or at least disable the organization.

Until Kim Dotcom can find a replacement billing system with wide adoption, or clone himself to be in many places at once he's vulnerable.

Eric said via ICQ that they believe he is not the shoebox guy. however approx a week before this MCR started to berserk on gfy I was contacted on ICQ for money exchange. I asked his gfy username, he did not reply, meanwhile i searched his icq here and it was clear to me that i was close to be scammed. then i sent a thread url or two to him and said sorry i can't do business with you. he never replied.
