Seriously, can such a conservative politician, Mormon cult leader ( no buzz, cigarettes, obscenity ) and his ultra conservative Catholic VP running mate be honestly pro and good for ADULT business ? I am scratching my head why so many folks here are so excited to see them win, just to see another Ashcroft trying to prosecute obscenity at any cost?

Except he is a practicing Mormon and they typically take their religion very seriously. To the point that they were the main driving force behind Prop 8.

Whether he can get laws changed is debatable. Whether he can instruct his DOJ to ride the hell out of existing laws is not.

A lot of people in adult aren't known for their common sense so I'm sure a lot of people will still vote for him.

I only knew two people who were raided. One was a content producer in Chicago named Mike. He had a local person with a vendetta against him call the local police and claim CP.
He finally "won" after it took years in court to prove he was innocent.

The other people are a couple who post right here on GFY. They live in the Carolinas, and their own family called the local cops on them and accused them of an unsafe home for their children.
They won too.

I don't personally know anyone who was raided by the feds and served time.

Well, theoretically speaking...Supreme Court judges are supposed to interpret the Constitution.

They don't make laws. They merely interpret the constitutionality of existing laws.

Best bet is to elect pro-adult people to Congress and the Senate. They make the laws and can abolish laws.

The Supreme Court only deals with what the Legislative Branch gives it to deal with.
