I started off with just 1 shared account and now 3 years later I have a blog network that spans many shared accounts and I pay more then most pay for their dedicated servers.

Even when I had just 1 $5.95/month shared account, my web host treated me GREAT!

So have you to give away 2 free months of service to get customers?

If the services were that outstanding as you state, people would gladly pay more as they do with several other hosts that are always mentioned here.

Imho webair is a reliable one, and treats everyone equally. I speak for myself though. I wonder why some people who had never hosted with them post comments here and throw fuel to fire. This is not fair I think. You're not interested with the offer? Then get away and do not post your shit here... simple and fair.

you treat every customer the same until you have so many you no longer need to and cannot. Go to vegas and play the penny slots but tell them you wanna be moved into the high roller room haha. It is what it is and most are use to how it was before. They are going to go where the money is. Yeah it might be a shame but they are getting what they want. Nobody would do the same here though. We all know that haha

I am sorry to tell you, but the people at penny slot machines get free rooms and drinks also. I guess you don't gamble much. My grandparents are in there 90's and only play slots but get coupons for free rooms every day. And you are comparing a dick and a finger. A lot of businesses do not need a large website setup to run. Most business only need a shared hosting account. Lets say, a tax accountant for instance. Does he need dedicated server for instance? No. Does that mean he should not have quality web hosting? What you are saying is retarded. If they cannot support the customers, they should discontinue the product. Bottom line. And there are many people here who do that. What you dont realize, is that when you are a 'high roller' or a 'whale' you are paying for extra service. But as a smaller customer, you are still entitled to the support that is agreed upon in the Terms Of Service. If you own a Affiliate Program. And you have 2 affiliates, one that does 2 sales a day and one that does 20 sales a day, are you not going to send the guy who does 2 sales a day marketing material because hes not the guy who does 20 sales a day? Then you are throwing money away. You never know who someone is or what they can afford or who they are going to be. Your business sense is that of a 3rd grader.

Because the people that don't host with them read the almost daily complaints about their service.

Hey Guys,

I first want to take a moment to say thank you to those who have expressed interest in this special offer both here on GFY and offline. Your business is appreciated.

Regarding those who have posted negative comments here, your voice is heard and you are a major reason we posted this special offer! We have been here since inception and we will be here for a long time to come. Regardless of what some of you think, we run a very tight ship and it's only getting better. We invite you to come see for yourself!

Yes we offer a range of services, from entry level virtual/shared hosting accounts to custom complex geo load balanced server clusters spanning multiple datacenters. Our shared hosting plans start at just $5.95 and includes ticket support only. It is an entry level hosting plan, and as such does not include the same tiers of support of our enterprise hosting plans.

That being said, we know shared hosting is still a valuable resource to many webmasters, whether just starting out, testing new sites or creating a network of sites across multiple plans, which is why we continue to provide these shared plans though it is common for hosts to discontinue this service. We are not closing the door on these plans and will soon be launching our NEW shared hosting platform to provide better service and redundancy to both new and existing shared hosting clients!

If you have experienced issues with our service or support in the past, we would like the opportunity to personally show you how far we have come and to experience for yourself the changes we have made and continue to make.

- Experience the new Cloud services we offer.
- Experience the upgrades to our network infrastructure.
- Experience our new state of the art datacenter.
- Experience our improved support and response times. All at NO cost to you!

Of course we have had issues / growing pains over the years, just like any other company who has grown as fast as we have. For every bad comment on you see on GFY we have thousands of happy clients and many "Webair Success Stories" here in this community and mainstream alike.

The 2 MONTH FREE Special is for our NEW Cloud hosting offers.

Those who have continuously posted on this board criticizing our service, we hear you and have stepped up to challenge! Will you?

I invite you to try for 2 MONTHS FREE! Give us a shot, post your thoughts and lets take it from there.

Thanks for reading!

team webair,

instead of being "reactive" on the boards saying bla bla bla about how good webair is,

how about being "proactive" and keeping your sites up and let other people say how good webair is?

I honestly don't understand why people are attacking webair all the time. I have a few servers with them for years now. Last downtime was in summer of 2009 if I remember correctly when some hardware died. They resolved it quite fast. After that I have 99.99% uptime (monitored by pingdom.com).

I rarly need their support, but I just needed them yesterday and my problem was resolved in 7 minutes. So they are really great for me.

I will never understood this logic "if it works at me,then it must working for everyone".
Just because your server works fine doesn't mean all other working fine,as every server have it's own rules and it can die at any time.

I may bite down on this offer Danny.

One thing I do think that Webair has a problem with is you try to do everything. Shared hosting, VPS, Dedicated... Custom web design, custom programming. I don't care if the last ones are 3rd parties. Jack of all trades, master of none. Whenever you get new hires or try to get people trained a certain way it's really hard to find anyone that will know how to take care of everything and put it in it's right spot.

Sounds like a deal though.

Scotty can you please send me your username or server name so I can personally check on this for you? There are no servers or services down. I want to make sure your issue is addressed and that you are getting the help you need. My email is Gerard at Webair.com

Thank you

Scotty thanks for getting back to me. I just replied to your email.
I personally checked on this and spoke to our technical team as well. This was related to the emergency maintenance we had to perform on the virtual server. All sites are online.

Please see my email with my recommendations and let me know. Thanks again.

If the services were that outstanding as you state, people would gladly pay more as they do with several other hosts that are always mentioned here.

Yeah, so many horrible experiences and people are just "confused". You run a very tight ship but your support sucks ass and always has and everyone has problems with downtime.

Lets explore this for a second...

Why is it that Brad and Tony get nothing but love and you guys get about 50% hate every time you post? .... It's because they actually understand customer service and how to "run a very tight ship" and then actually do it. Because they actually do it, they don't have any need to come and tell people that they do it.

No its not asshole. Its people LIKE ME, who had nothing but a horrible experience but never had those experiences at places like Phat, NatNet or Mojo.

And whats in it for you?? Why defend someone with such an impossibly shitty reputation, trail of complaints and been beat down to the point they have to create fake nicks to defend themselves? What do you get out of it? What do you get out of completely dismissing all of the shitty experiences people have had?

I am being sarcastic my friend. I am not defending anyone. Read the whole thread. You will see that is not the case . I was making light of the fact that all of the webair supporters always blame trolls for saying bad things when it is obviously not the case. I am by no means a supporter. Read my comments in this thread and you will see....I have another webhost in my sig. If you want some good hosting recommendations feel free to hit me on icq and I will talk to you about who I have gotten great support from. Also If you are in need of a shared hosting account. The company in my sig currently has a coupon for 50% off until tomorrow. I signed a customer up today for 2 years it costed 130 dollars and change including cPanel. Thats about 5.50 a month paid upfront. The company has over 100 employees and owns 3 or 4 of its own datacenters in the united states. They dont rent space or cages from anyone and call it there own datacenter. Hit me up on icq if you have questions. Sorry if you were ticked off for a second but I was being sarcastic.

What a bunch of trololo bullshit in this thread! I see plenty of competitor resellers here trowing shit. Why is even such trolling allowed in a business threads!
Unbelievable how much envy and hate is here. I personally heard only good things about that company from real business people having whole clusters of servers there.

everytime I see the thread I think ok try them again 2 months free upgraded network. but then I remember how slow support was on certain things and then I read this and I realize why. I never in a million years could image that the reason the support was like that was because I was only spending $100 on a server and was small fry. But that makes sense now. And it's probably at the root of the problem at webair. They don't treat everyone the same. And they do not strive to great support like other popular adult hosts. IE mojohost, amerinoc, nakedhosting, cyberwurx

Sorry man. My bad. I apologize.

We lost a lot of time and money because of these guys and I was discovering first hand how poorly ran they were, how horrible their service/support was and at the same time, people defend them like XXX people are just fabricating it. Even worse to be called a "troll" for pointing out obvious and very well supported truths.

We wanted to take a large number of sites, databases/scripts and split them across a few hosting companies in maybe 08 and these guys were by far the biggest nightmare and most incompetent to deal with. We had to cancel before we even used the servers.

I would rank webair one notch above host gator.

That sucks man. Check above a couple of posts to see what DangerX wrote. He looks seems to think that everyone who had problems are trolls for real...

It doesn't matter how people are treated if the expectations are correct. If they want to sell a 4.95 VPS to retards, then they need to communicate WELL that there will be no support.

It doesn't say anywhere on here for example, that you'll also be on the "Webair ignore list"
http://www.webair.com/webhosting-vsys.html

You can't blame a customer for ordering and then getting pissed off when the waiter never comes back and he learns the hard way and way too late, that he needed to go to kitchen to get his own food.

Oh well, I realized over a decade ago, that this business lacked and still lacks the one thing that most other industries do not.... the presence of actual businessmen
