Looked very 70s authentic but I thought the action sequences were lackluster. Still a good movie but I think the critics over hyped it.

I wouldn't really call it an action movie per se... or even a thriller really... it is a historical drama about a famous real life "super spy".

The attempt to add action (stuff that didn't happen in real life) was almost unnecessary imho.

Great story, good acting, decent film.

i have to agree here.. Despite me thinking it was pretty good I truly don't understand how this movie is getting 95% ratings on rotten tomatoes.. i guess that binary system isn't exactly fool proof given that it doesn't really show how MUCH critics enjoyed it ;)

flight was pretty refreshing though, saw that last night. took some odd turns and not as predictable as most.

There's a misplaced love affair with Ben Affleck as a director recently. But his movies are getting better each time.

I liked it, but not as earth shattering as its been made out to be.

yeah I feel the same way about his directing. he has done some decent films already and he IS getting better. much better at that than he is at acting anyway..

I just watched this movie and I thought it was very well done - felt authentic and that's from someone old enough to remember the event as a kid

the best movie I have seen in a long time, then again, I don't like sci-fi, vampiers, or cartoons, which pretty much eliminates 99% of the movies produced in the past few years

He's actually a talented actor when he is motivated, but he got a shit ton of unnecessary hate for the whole Jennifer Lopez thing and taking a few roles where he was just cashing a paycheck and going through the motions...

It was good. By no means should it have been an Oscar winner. It was a suspense movie where you knew the ending. That's not really suspenseful.

I expected more from Argo. Good movie, certainly enjoyable, but expected more from it, as it did win best picture.

Looking forward to seeing Zero Dark Thirty when it come out to digital release next week.

I finally watched it last night. Usually I love this kind of stuff, but this was very slow and dull really. I was disappointed.
