Why is it so difficult to understand the FBI and other agencies do this all the time?

I guess Fast and Furious didn't happen or the hundreds of other documented instances where the government plots devious events to happen...sometimes they follow through with them and sometimes they don't. And sometimes it goes wrong and the patsy or patsies go rogue...

No one knows what happened here, but to dismiss this because you think the government "would never do that" is beyond absurd. One thing is true- we'll never get the FULL story from the mainstream media or from "officials", because they have absolutely no reason to tell it

The 12 second delay between the two bombs is interesting. That could mean they used a cell phone to detonate the first one, waited for the sound of the explosion to reach them and then called in the next one. So you figure a couple seconds for it to register with the bomber that he's hearing the explosion and then another five seconds to end that call and make the next call (assuming it's on speed dial). Now you factor in the speed of sound and you've got an approximate radius of where this person was at.

The explosions could have very well been placed inside of the mail boxes. It would explain the blast being contained below torso height and it would explain the 100 yards apart for the blasts.

I never understood the concept of a suicide bomber. If you are going to have someone dedicated to your cause, why have them kill themselves?

This case is a great example. Why should they use a suicide bomber when leaving a package and walking away does just as much damage, and then they can do it again.

I can see it if it's a huge car bomb and it will kill hundreds of people, but in a small attack like this it's pointless.

3 people died and you'd think it's the end of the world. Sure it's terrible but in the bigger picture it's nothing. More people probably died in car accidents and drone attacks today.

This looks like some type of pipebomds it looks like as reported by different news groups. And by the pictures of people's limbs gone

Suicide bombing volunteers are a dime a dozen. It's not the masterminds doing the bombing. It's the ignorant. So they could care less about the collateral loss.

So if you want to do the most damage, why wouldn't you have someone walk into a crowd of people instead of trying to anticipate the proper place to hide a bomb.

The Islamic's use suicide bombers in the middle east because volunteers are easy to come by and it's easier to just push a button than sneak a bomb somewhere and hope it stays hidden long enough to set off. They also don't have to worry about anyone getting caught and leading the authorities back to the people running things.

In the US they don't have such easy access to people willing to blow themselves up, because in the US people have a future. Meaning it's much harder to find and keep people that are willing to blow themselves up hence to reason we have never had a suicide bombing here in the US.

I'd think, it would still be hard to do two bombs with one back pack, however there were reports yesterday of a guy that was seen with 2 backpacks.

If you look closely at the picture in full size you can see part of the railing in the left picture. You see a little bit of it between the two guys wearing the black jackets with yellow stripes on their sleeves. It's not much but it's the horizontal bar on the top of the railing.
