Not sure how to respond to that other than 'cool bro, have a nice (short) life'.

3 yrs is forever, in terms of having no contact with a person after drifting apart, especially to be told out of the blue... 'I have the gaids'.

I haven't seen my best friend in 13 years - He lives in New Zealand and I live in Europe - Sometimes we don't talk for months - I am trying to get him to move over here...

His partner, one of the nicest people I have ever met died of the 'gaids' a few years ago.....
