If you mean what's actually built on the left side, it was just a doodle where I hooked a potentiometer up to a servo, and actuated the servo from the setting on the pot. Here's a short video showing how it worked:

That slow spinning thing looks like what Bruce Willis used in The Jackal to mount that big ass sniper on, only smaller.Awesome things nontheless.Still a better hobby than fishing.Cheers!

Check out some Arduino tutorials online. It's a very easy programming language, and if you're not able to work with electronics at all, the wiring and components will make intuitive sense.

Raspberry Pi is a cool machine, I just have been doing Arduino so long, it's hard to really get too excited about it. A friend of mine just got a contract to write an rpi book, so we'll see if he comes up with anything good.
