 A team of physicists has provided some of the clearest evidence yet that our Universe could be just one big projection. In 1997, theoretical physicist Juan Maldacena proposed that an audacious model of the Universe in which gravity arises from infinitesimally thin, vibrating strings could be reinterpreted in terms of well-established physics. This article was incredibly poorly researched. Although there is something to the holographic universe theory, the way they've extrapolated is incorrect to say the least. The conclusions are actually for different reasons, and the mathematical parity is akin to a parlor trick. It also misquotes the number of physical dimensions in the leading branches of string theory.
As usual, Huff gets is sideways at best when dealing with real science. |
