anyone site owners make DECENT sales from the tube partner uploads?
by decent i mean based on the amount of content uploaded to the site and views.

currently have content on the tubes with LOTS of views AND very few sales to show.

curious about feedback as I'm considering taking them down.

I make decent sales to the following. When I say decent I mean that I get an ROI on the direct sales and type-in traffic is gravy.

Xhamster, YouPorn, Pornhub, Xtube, Pornerbros, Redtube and Madthumbs.

I submit to a handful of others that I am beginning to look more deeply into the value of the type-in traffic to justify submissions.

However I am in the same boat, pending some analysis I may end up dropping all but 10 or so and increasing submissions to those that are worth it.

It will be interesting to see how that market continues to shake out.

Yeah, there are maybe 10 worth uploading to as Todd wrote and the biggest value is the type-ins/Google search traffic resulting from the exposure.

Not necessarily. The reason those other tubes are totally unproductive is because they are buying so much traffic to sell adviews. That isn't sustainable.

Xhamster does so well because there are real people there. There is plenty of free porn there of all kinds and its good stuff, yet those folks buy memberships at a decent clip.

In my opinion its not because they get some totally unique segment that loves free and paid porn, its just that they are in fact real eyeballs on your content and real people clicking through to your site.

My team submits to +200 tubes. Each one of them is worth it to us. Why discriminate? Do you remember the gallery submitting days, sales could come from the weirdest places.

Actually, I do. And 99% of my sales came from like 5-6 TGPs, so I cut the list of manually submitted TGPs down and did the rest automatically. Tube clips take much much longer though.. one HD clip I upload can be easily over 500-600 MB or more and my internet line is 100/100 mbit .. so it is waste of time, inefective.

There are many other good reasons for me to fuck the small tubes off.. most of them just want free content and they easily kick you down in Google SERPS for site specific KWs.

A 500-600 MB HD clip? None of my "clips" is bigger than 70MB...
And sure, pretty much all of the tube uploading is automatized. Even with several employees it's better to automatize as much as possible.

Site specific KWs? You mean your paysite's name? I never use paysite names in the description of the clip. Why would I want to do that? That would just increase the competition for the paysite's name.

Some other things jump to mind. But from reading your post I already got the gist of it: different methods yield different results.

No, it's not paid per view. I think it would be a bit hard to manage all the views of each submitted clip over all the different tubes.
Hey, do you mean $ per view or do you mean Pimprolls paidperview?

It's an excel spreadsheet that tells me how much $ I've made per uploaded clip.
Like Relentless would say: I know how much clips I've uploaded. And I know how many sales I make. All the rest is irrelevant. If a paysite doesn't convert, I drop it.

We upload quality HD videos and I do those few tubes by hand. Tested the submitter, most of the sites were useless. Waste of time for me.

Well, not just KWs, but the channel names as well. The small tubes dont usually offer content partner program so you are left to only promote your brand with the watermark. It is also easier to control the content and productivity on 10-15 tubes instead of spreading it across 150 tubes that send 10 views a day.

Guess it depends on the niche too.
