Lucifer as we traditionally define him is actually symbolism for an alien life form that has attempted to take control of planet Earth. In the book of Genesis when they talk about a serpent entering the garden of Eden to corrupt Eve, that is actually an alien. The description of eating from the tree of knowledge is symbolic of the alien giving Eve something to eat that corrupted her mind. Actually, it was also taken in consideration after 9/11 by certain Republican party members in the US. So I would say it's more than just the possibility if anything like 9/11 or something bigger occurs on American soil once again.
