Yeah it is cool that this one guy who retired can keep saying this stuff. The rest of the world who gets nothing out of being biased are on one side.

You're just going to keep getting it wrong when you don't read the proof that is linked to it, but then again, your belief is based like that, isn't it? Based on half assed 3rd party bong parties?

What about the Maldive's being overrun by the rising sea levels caused by the melting of the polar ice caps?

I'd recommend watching this documentary before getting back to me on this one.

Polar Ice Caps

BUT if you looked at the science you would see that local climate temperatures will actually be cooler, so as is stated in your little cartoon "near record cold and wet summer" means it would be perfectly consistent with the expected result of global warming.

Finally, and most importantly when it comes to any scientific venture - having some part of your science proven wrong does not mean the entirety of the science is wrong. Perhaps an inconvenient truth got some facts wrong, but we were still new at looking into this data, and we didn't have as much as we have now. I am sure that even scientist who state climate change is real will admit inconvenient truth got some things wrong.

I added this to my list in Netflix. I've been following Maldives for a few years now and I wonder what they are going to do.

It's not even debatable anymore.

Records have been kept for 150 years now and anyone who denies climate change is real is pretty much considered a quack at this point in the scientific community lol

So its settled science?

Why do we spend billions of dollars every year on it then?

Only the USA debates it at all. It is settled. China is making a deal with Russia to ship the northern route. This wasn't even possible before. Greenland has lots of new land to mine since the glaciers are melting. The world is changing and people are making money off of it, and you are wondering if it is real. Get the blinders off.

Thats has to be the most asinine statement yet!

Where do you get your information from?

In about 2 seconds of Googling I can find numerous example of countries still debating it.
Heres one great example:
http://www.theguardian.com/environme...ead-in-english

In Australia we have the AUSTRALIAN BUREAU OF METEOROLOGY ACCUSED OF CRIMINALLY ADJUSTED GLOBAL WARMING

And heres Winnipeg. Last I checked that was not in the US
Climate change skeptics may be confusing climate and weather

To be clear I believe there is Climate Change but its a naturally occurring cycle.

The problem with you is you want to have it both ways. To you "Global Warming" and "Climate Change" are interchangeable terms.

We have just has the coldest winter and coolest summer in years ...

That said, we got enough snowfall and rainfall this season to relive minor drought conditions.

I think you need to look at weather conditions over thousands of years to see any real trends. If I went by this year's weather I would say we may be on the verge of a new ice age, LOL -- that would be wrong too...

It's actually "climate change", that is also more accurate term when concerning big puzzles like climate (and time span being 50-200 years). But the pic suits for the theme as oceans have been warming. It's like predicting the weather 100 years from now: there will all kind of weathers between that point and now, and also shitload of differents factors those can change.

What they are going to do is keep extorting money from all of the gullible greentards from the west so they can build more new airports, resorts and other developments on their supposedly sinking islands. Do you think they would be doing all of that if they honestly felt they were about to be swallowed by the sea?

What's it about then? Future temperature? These clowns can't even get short term forecasts right and you expect us to believe their forecasts for 100 years from now?

Yes, it is about future temperature amongst other things. Or most accurately it's about what kind of impacts will human made/ induced carbon emmissions have in the terms of volume and time. So it's not just about temperature.

And it's not about forecasts. Forecasts are made to estimate the impacts mentioned earlier. Concentrating to forecasts is like focusing to Google analytics, instead of what it is supposed to examine and show (visitors and visitors behaviour). Even if you think that Analytics is bullshit, it doesn't meant that your site wouldn't have visitors.

The interesting thing is that graph shows something going on. We are moving out of the range we were in for the last 2k years. We could move towards an extreme we haven't experienced in a long time and encounter problems.

It doesn't matter how they're debating it. You said it was only in the US, proving my point nicely.

And as usual if anyone should disagree with your point of view they must be idiots. Scientist or not.

He said it. If you can't see the irony I can't help you.

Even if climate change is not happening, we still need to change our ways.

Studies have been done, in the US for example a small town near some sort of factory. Its pumping out mercury. The women in the town were tested, and had something like 10 or 20 times the mercury other women have in their system.

Either way, what we are doing is not working. Its all for money..
