Still remember they used loli traffic sources, and even when they claimed it never happened, you could load one of their DNSservers default website, and find just that.

+ they put millions of $ in to the pocket of warez/illegal site-owners, but their bro-ness is infinet, so what does it matter

No offence, but it sounds like you need to do a whole shit load of research on this company first.

I still remind me how they crashed the affiliate program, started to shave the old group of webmasters, changing terms and rules, closed forum so no gathering was possible between existing webmasters, then Mickey really pulled some stunts and made sure that we got screwed in our asses big time. Yeah I know where the profit comes from, hope you slap yourself on the chest, probably when they started you where still handing out flyers at the subway. While we did send traffic to a shitty Livejasmin with five cams and a worthless design.

Stop the ego trip, and stop being proud on a system that is established by webmaster and then dumped them like a titanic.

Want me to dig a little deeper? I am predicting this thread becomes a train wreck. Oohh wait, it already is.

To be fair lots of webmasters ran "lolita" sites, until the term was no longer allowed. Legal sites, sure, but still full of girls looking underage. I never ran one, but I remember those who did telling me it was extremely profitable, compared to most other niches.

I was actually thinking earlier today that unless you happen to be super lucky and come up with a great idea that just carries you along, to become truly "successful", you really need to be a sociopath.

Companies like Exoclick, Duodecad IT Services (Jasmin) and those like them will see action taken against them eventually, at some point they will have to pay. It may not happen this year and it may not happen next year but I am sure it will happen. Meanwhile we're building our files of evidence and patiently waiting for the right time.
What you seem incapable of understanding in your zeal is that a company isn't just "advertising" somewhere for fun. Particularly when its a lot of traffic. You can't expect livejasmin to not allow ads somewhere that sends 100-1000 new members a day and just give that to cams.com or streamate or whoever causing them to lose significant market share, decreasing their operating capital, their ad budgets, their ability to buy traffic etc etc etc and giving it to their competition.

Thats like attacking mcdonalds and trying to force them to sell a hamburger for 15.00 for whatever reason when that clearly that only benefits competitors and doesn't solve the core problem.

You seem to enjoy telling yourself that ad networks are just greedy, affiliate programs are just greedy etc etc etc. No matter what you tell yourself, that doesn't change the fact that they are all competing with each other and one company suddenly performing to your unrealistic ethical standards and blocking every site you believe they should is just going to make their competition stronger and them weaker.

Use your head and just go after bad sites and stop blaming people for their ads being on those sites.

Bottom line is still this: livejasmin funds piracy sites. Even if you justify it as "if they won't do it other will" that statement is still 100% accurate.

these 'good' sites are funding the 'bad' sites. you'll never stop them as long as there is money to be made. now if all the 'good' sites worked together and didn't accept this kind of traffic, it would impact them greatly. of course in adult this would never and could never happen because there is always someone willing to take whatever kind of traffic if they can make a buck off.

I can't disagree wtih that. My point is that one also has to be practical in the approach. You can't tell one site "stop what you are doing" where when they comply, it then gives competitors a major advantage over them. It only works when everyone stops at once and no one has an advantage. I dont see how that will happen either as the obvious end game would be to set up their own traffic network so that people can buy ads directly through the site itself. Calling everyone who displays an ad on a particular site (usually unknowingly) a scumbag and theif is hardly a productive solution. No one cares. If exoclick has good traffic, i'll buy it no matter where it comes from (note, there are what seems to be 100s of domains related piratebay and their distributed network selling traffic/displaying ads). Same with any ad network. Just as anyone else will buy those ads, but that lies about it in public.

The problem is piracy sites.
The piracy sites.
Not how they monetize traffic.
The traffic will always be monetized.

I could sit down and come up with 400 ways to monetize a sites traffic in a matter of minutes. Furthermore, there are endless ways to monetize torrent traffic itself which will fly under the radar anyway. Playing whack-a-mole with advertisers is anyway and an obvious waste of time and resources. It is the site itself, which is the problem. And when the site itself is shut down, the problem goes away.

The only real solution is to go after the sites. If the sites are "illegal" as claimed, then it shouldn't be an issue to shut them down.

Yes. The simple truth is that anyone is going to do what they have to to make money. It's easy for someone who is not in the biz or not trying to grow a business, fighting against fierce competition to cast aspersions on others.. but its a reality of business. If that traffic is high quality and available, someone will pay for it. If they can't pass it off to an endless list of networks, they'll sell it themselves, through their own sites and let people buy direct. If that can't work, they'll monetize it other ways (promoting their own offers etc). Pirate bay traffic converts well. End of story. If anyone wants their traffic to be off the market, piratebay has to be shut down. Going after advertiser after advertiser after advertiser doesn't change anything at all.

Another bad example can be seen at tubes - it is like they are forced to steal as much is possible content,as if other tube steal more content, then surfers will switch to it.
In the end, unless there is a law which will put an end to such practices, not much can be done.

well lucky him.
but as other said before most money is done with warez sites.
i can remeber the early days when Bart of Livejamsin was message me every day try to get his campaign runnings on torrent sites and so on.

in hungary with a low copyright law it might work in all countries which are not 3rd world related this business model would be should down allready by authorities.

so lucky him he is in Hungary. as long we skeip the ethical part its fine.

Wrong calculation. He has "only" 560million euros. http://www.xe.com/currencyconverter/...rom=HUF&To=EUR.

But for sure, he has more money. Only Jasmine worth over 1 bill, and he has lot of other (mainstream) businesses and ventures.

Wrong calculate. He has "only" $750million.
Forbes was never about actual money holding(plus they cant valuate that anyway as they cant peak into their bank account),they base it on business/property valuation. For example, your house might worth 2 millions dollars, but that doesn't mean you will be able to sell it by that price.

Stop the ego trip, and stop being proud on a system that is established by webmaster and then dumped them like a titanic.

Want me to dig a little deeper? I am predicting this thread becomes a train wreck. Oohh wait, it already is.

I know how Forbes calculating. The newssite made wrong calculation. 173bi HUF is 560 MILLION EUR, not BILLION!

And yes, in real, he is richer than what Forbes calculate.

This is almost starting to seep into me, lots of successful people look at things and others as expendable... being amoral.
