I just did some research: turns out that American military bases are NOT considered "U.S. Soil," unlike embassies and consulates (which are). Learn something new every day! I retract my previous erroneous statement about the base he was born on. Turns out he was NOT born in the U.S. after all.

EDIT: Based on Wikipedia that quoted law about citizenship came as a law a year after McCain's birth, and he was made as a citizen ex post facto. So the argue has not been about the law per se, just that he did birth before that law. But as he got citizenship ex post facto, there is no fucking problem.

Puerto Ricans are US citizens? I didn't know this. I don't know much about Puerto Rico itself.

Seems there are other islands with similar status, including Northern Mariana Islands. I had no idea.

This was the craziest part of the whole theory. What was the point? Kenya's secret service picked a boy born in 1961 and started grooming him for President of the US.
