A model whom I have worked with a few times, Eden Alexander, blogged about being severely abused and ripped off by an alt porn producer named Blaise Christie (Electro Films, and affiliate program AltPornGold), who is now under arrest and facing charges:

if you follow me on Twitter (@EdenAlexanderXX) you might have been alarmed, shocked or surprised by the info i tweeted this morning. i am, at this moment a bit stunned and emotionally overwhelmed by all of this, so therefore a full blog post detailing what happened to me will come at a later time. for now, i will post this press release detailing general facts of the case, including info about the 2 suspects and what is happening during the legal process right now. the incident i was personally involved with occurred February of 2011.

bc i did not write the press release, some of the info is not exactly what happened but i will clarify in my later blog post what those discrepancies were as they are minor factors that don?t dispute the severity of the accusations. (for example, i didn?t take a cab, i was picked up.) obviously, i was the talent who flew in from SF detailed below, and i was one of MANY, dozens even who were ripped off, choked, punched, and sexually assaulted by this predator and his accomplice. if you or any other model you know was a victim of Blaise Ryan Carlisle, AKA ?Blaise Christie? BLAISE RYAN CHRISTIE was arrested last Thursday after a ripping off dozens of girls for his porn website at http://electrofilms.com/ . His M.O. was always the same. He would post ads on craiglist.com and backpage.com offering $1000 per shoot paid in cash.

He would then have the girl come to a cheap motel in Garden Grove(Orange County) and shoot a 4 hour scene that would include the girl wearing gaudy blue eye liner, endless boygirl(vaginal), sometimes anal and sometimes actual choking.

At the end of the ordeal and after the girls signed the model release, when the girl was expecting $1000 or more in cash he would say there was an issue with his bank and he would need to pay by check.

The check would never clear. Alot of girls were depending on getting cash for immediate bills. He was ripping the girls off.

One established porn talent flew in from San Francisco at her own expense because she was promised $2000 in cash. She took a cab at her own expense to Garden Grove.

He gave her a check.

She called the cops. The cops came and talked to him but at 11pm were not able to confirm the check was a fake so they could arrest him.

She filed a police report and told as many people in the adult industry as she could. Other girls in the business were ripped off. Some 3 years ago, some last year and a few earlier this year.

I know an agent here in LA who was scammed by this guy. His MO was to book the girls a few days apart and then he disappeared without paying the girls or the agent... he didn't even write bad checks. He shot in the early evening at cheap motels in Orange County, and at least a couple of the girls thought him strange.

I'm not a lawyer, and I'm not sure about the law in this case with regards to rape. I imagine the fact that the models were there to film a sex scene, will muddy up that issue, which is why the the only charges that Christie faces as the moment are for ripping off the performers for their talent fees, although it certainly sounds like not paying was part of his ploy to have sex and assault these women, and then sell the final video for his own profit, while cutting out the talent.

I've been shooting adult content (porn if you want) for over 12 years, which is a lot in porn years, and I think as a Producer/Director that we owe more to our talent than to equate a serial abuser, with a person that simply accidentally wrote a bad check here and there.

It sounds like Blaise Christie and his accomplice used the lure of pay to actually go far beyond anything consensual, and then to make matters worse, and possibly rise to the level of rape or a hate crime, it appears that these were pre-meditated acts designed to degrade and unfairly exploit other persons (or in this case many persons), who are also people who work in this industry we share, so I think we should all feel a little concerned and want justice for our performers.

Porn Performer Jah-T gets life for drugging, raping 50 women in Miramar warehouse for Movies

They were pursuing their modeling dreams, but wound up in a horrific nightmare ? drugged and raped, their sexual assaults caught on video and then posted on Internet sex sites around the world and sold in porn shops.

Some of the women woke up in their cars or hotels, bleeding or covered in vomit, drugged and unable to move, remembering only snippets of being sexually abused by a strange man.

Others had no memory of the assaults and only began to piece together what happened when strangers, who tracked them down using ID cards and other information on the videos, phoned or sent them messages on Facebook claiming to be fans of their "performances."

On Thursday, several of the victims confronted Lavont Flanders Jr. and Emerson Callum at their sentencing hearing in federal court in Miami.

A federal jury last year found the two men guilty of numerous counts, including enticing the women to South Florida, knowing that fraud would be used to make the women take part in commercial sex acts. Flanders was also convicted of five counts of distributing a date rape drug to the women.

Seven women testified at the trial, but federal prosecutors said the investigation revealed a staggering number of offenses between 2006 and 2011.

About 50 women reported similar crimes by Flanders and Callum, prosecutors told the judge. Phone records showed they contacted 100 women in the year before federal agents arrested them in August.

"I'm someone's daughter ... and I had a dream and you ruined that for me," one of the women told the convicted men.

The men "desecrated" her dreams with their "appalling act of violence," she told the judge. She said she later cut off all her hair, because she didn't want to look "too feminine."

Another of the victims spoke powerfully in court to both men.

"I am not afraid of you, either of you," she told them. "I am here because I want to look both of you in your pitiful eyes."

The woman called the men "arrogant, sick and twisted, moronic imbeciles" who left a trail of evidence that led to them. She took pride in having helped federal agents and local police track them down.

Neither man would meet her gaze as she spoke.

Prosecutors on Thursday urged U.S. District Judge K. Michael Moore to sentence both men to multiple life terms in federal prison because of the unusually heinous, cruel and degrading nature of the crimes and the prolonged after-effect of the online footage.

Flanders, 41, of Miami Gardens, is a former Miami Beach police officer who was fired. He also worked for the Opa-locka police department, the Department of Homeland Security, and was a Miami-Dade Transit bus driver, according to court records.

Callum [pictured], 45, of Miami, known as "Jah-T," was a self-described porn star who produced adult videos at his Miramar business.

Flanders repeatedly posed as a female model online and enticed aspiring models from around the country to audition in South Florida. He would then contact them, claiming he was a talent scout for multinational companies.

When they flew in, or drove from other parts of Florida, Flanders would film them auditioning for a liquor commercial, tricking them into drinking the drug-laced concoctions. After they were sedated, he drove them to a Miramar warehouse and recorded Callum raping them. Both men then produced and sold the footage. They never paid the women.

Flanders and Callum were not content with their sexual degradation of the victims ? investigators said they also recorded themselves making fun of the women after the assaults. Flanders told one victim to "say hello to Karen," one of the aliases he used to recruit the women.

Another woman, who couldn't testify in the trial because she was serving in the U.S. Air Force in Iraq, told the judge she had no idea what happened to her in 2007 until a strange man called her home phone and told her how to find the video by searching on Google.

Prosecutor Roy Altman told the judge the women are victimized over and over again because they know that strangers, as well as people they know, could see the video of the most humiliating moments of their lives. Some of the footage is posted on foreign website domains and prosecutors said there is no way to force the owners of those websites to remove the videos.

The veteran said she is terrified her two children, ages 4 and 8, will someday learn what happened.

"It would kill me," she said.

The two men were defiant during the sentencing hearing and their attorneys tried to shift blame to the women because some of them agreed to drink what they thought was an alcoholic drink they were being paid to promote on film. In fact, it was laced with drugs that made the women appear eerily awake and compliant though experts said they were unconscious.

State prosecutors initially charged the men in Broward County, but they were freed on bond and continued to prey on women while they were free, prosecutors said. Officials said the state charges were eventually dropped to make way for the federal case. Days after most of the state charges were dropped, Flanders filed a lawsuit against Miramar police, claiming false arrest.

Flanders and Callum spoke only briefly on Thursday, claiming they were wrongly charged with abusing minors ? they weren't, and the judge said it appeared to be a manipulative ruse concocted by Flanders. The two men said they objected to their convictions and being sentenced and that they will file appeals.

Judge Moore sentenced both men to multiple life sentences, saying their crimes were precisely what enhanced sentences were designed to punish and deter.

"I categorically and emphatically reject any suggestion that these women were in any way responsible for what happened to them," the judge said. "Indeed, the effort to shift the blame to these women is shameless."

my understanding is without fulfillment of the contarct... i.e. getting paid... the contract is invalid and the content can't be used. this is why a releases has a line with signature/initial for compensation and why we keep receipts, canceled checks and tax papers on file.

several producers I know take a verbal statement on video, before and after the shoot, as well as scan the check... because while there are very creepy producers, there very creepy models as well. in fact only know 2 or 3 creepy producers, 1 or 2 creepy agents, but 15-20 creepy models.

and it's not rape by any means it's fraud. allegations of rape and fraud are completely separate issues. and you do realize that being a shooter in todays environment automatically make you wrong without any proof in the eyes of society. you can look at your own reaction to the allegations as an example... you are basing you views on internet message board hearsay and making assumptions.

if he knew the checks/cheques were not going to clear, or if he deceived people into doing work for him - and had no intention of paying them 9putting the type of work to one side) then it is fraud, all that needs to be shown is deception, and the fact that it was done a few times, if it was done once , then it could be a "mistake" or a "dispute" or a "civil matter" , but if he was doing it repeatedly and had no intention of paying anyone and using deception in order to get them to do the job then theres no doubt its a criminal matter of fraud.
