Then why didn't they just take the Pirates idea and do it on their own? It isn't like they couldn't come up with their own costume porn epic based on 16th century costume department outfits and a few low budget special effects to sandwich a bunch of sex scenes with pornstars. I bet Manwin could even do it without having to use big name contract stars with anachronistic boob jobs . The OP called them out for buying the rights from Adam & Eve - that doesn't really fit into the Manwin/mindgeek is evil motif Mike seems so eager to exploit.

Besides, Mike is so bent on trying to point out the pirate flag that he totally missed the red flag that was way more compelling in a Manwin is evil plot line, namely, the back door in NATS that Jason Tucker called out years ago before he went completely silent on the subject. However, that would involve real investigative journalism and Mike is just OP Ed so don't think that story will ever break.

I know this sounds harsh and we have had our pissing matches about this stuff for years now but I just wish you would see the real for the fake drama and not buy so easily into Mike's blivet.*

As for Mike's big bold news.. sounds like he is just saying that a well connected person in the industry was able to make a deal happen between 2 large companies and a group of investors...
