Will websites on the same server, but different IP's, show up on Whois lookup as on the same server?
Say I put mainstream and adult websites on the same server. And I dont want someone to lookup CuteWeddingDresses.net on Whois and see its on the same server as GrandmasCuntflaps.us
If I put them on separate IP's will that keep them from appearing on the same lists? Or is there no way to keep them separate, since they are on the same server? Thanks |

What does it matter because you just told google here in this thread now so if someone searches one of the domains and finds this thread they will know.

Depends whether you feel you should worry about Google penalising sites on the same IPs - what about the (legit) hosts which have tens of thousands of sites on one IP? Google would probably be more likely to tie your sites together via WHOIS information for your domains.

Okay, I apologise, I didn't read the OP properly.
I would absolutely advise against using the same IP for adult and mainstream, because your domains will be listed by the many "profile" sites which have appeared in the past 10 years. Many will just list what is on the exact same IP, but some may also list sites "near" the IP that is being queried, so sticking your adult sites on X.X.X.1 and your mainstream sites on X.X.X.2 may not be such a good idea. That's one thing I like about OVH - when you "buy" an extra IP, you're assigned a random IP from their pool. The only way to determine that two completely different IPs are hosted on the same machine is to do further prodding, and even then you wouldn't be 100% sure. |

Having on the same server should not be an issue at all.....
The thing to be clear about is having two different unique IPs which is crucial. |
