Considering the fact that Trudeau is brand new, younger, and has a shitload to deal with on his plate already, I would hope that he is careful about every decision he makes, and has very good reasons and lots of backup for every decision. I think he should match what the US is doing as far as the refugees are concerned but not exceed it the way he is.

Good - they can go live with you.

And when one of them blows something up or slaughters a bunch of Canadians - you won't mind if I drive up to Montreal and slap you upside the head.

I've lived in Quebec city and now in Montreal and I can assure you all the Euro French I know prefer it here than over there

I have some friends who are originally from in St.Pierre and they have a healthy disrespect for Quebec AND New Brunswick French -- not the people, the language variances. They consider Quebec French as slang and somewhat insulting to the French language.

That said, having lived in Northern Ontario, and a LOT of time in various areas of Quebec and New Brunswick... one thing I think is safe to say, that there is much more of a rivalry between Euro French/Quebec and New Brunswick -- people of those two provinces seem to just despise one another.
