always funny how people subjectively decide that Iraq is the start of all current problems, when Iraq could not happen until al qaeda made the USA very insecure, & willing to do anything the president wanted.

& when al qaeda declared war on the USA in 98, & clinton did nothing. & when al qaeda bombed the USS cole, & clinton took a hummer from the intern. Maybe i can be just as subjective like you & decide clinton is to blame for all of this, for letting al qaeda grow on his watch.

why? because the republicans are insane & do things like needlessly invading Iraq. its important that cooler heads on the left have the balls to win this war. or else we will live in the same mind-state as israelis, who vote for the racist apartheid govt because they fear the weakness of the left.

so it would be nice if a euro country made some attempt to lead a victory over ISIS, cause obama definitely is not going to. the syrians are moving to europe so it would seem logical there should be a more agressive foreign policy response from europe. But that does not appear to be in the cards. no leadership.

I don't think any one thing is to blame for ISIS...it's a problem that's been a long time in the making, even before Russia invaded Afghanistan. Invading Iraq and destabilizing the region sure as fuck sped up the process a little.
