The Mayor of Flint did not make the decision to switch water sources. That decision was made by an emergency manager. Who was appointed by the Governor to run Flint's affairs as they were broke. The city council was able to weigh in and vote because the director of the water authority insisted. Based on the advice of the emergency manager and the Governors office they voted 7-1 in favor of making the Flint River their water source.

- Iowa allows for a coin toss in rare circumstances where a precinct ends in a tie.
- The Des Moines Register reported that there were 6 coin flips and Clinton won all 6. However they have since updated that article and in actuality there were 7 coin flips and Sanders won 6 of them. A subsequent editorial has requested an audit.
- Those 7 'coin flips' do not turn into delegates for either candidate. They instead factor into the allotment formula Iowa uses to issue the actual delegates.

On to the Superdelegates which you clearly do not understand.

- Superdelegates are nothing new. They have been around since the 80's and were set up so the Establishment has more of a say in the process. They are made up of former Presidents, Vice-Presidents, Governors, Congress, Mayors, etc.
- Of course Superdelegates are going to support Clinton over Sanders. Sanders was an Independent just a couple of years ago. Likewise Clinton also had a 3-1 pledged super delegate advantage over Obama in 2008.
- Only 15% of the total delegates available are Superdelegates.
- Superdelegates are only pledged to a candidate. They've either been asked or publicly stated who they will vote for. They can change and often do.
- They change because they follow the popular vote in the end. There is zero chance Sanders wins the popular vote and these Superdelegates give Clinton the win.

So that is why the 'mainstream media' is not reporting on 'the backroom bullshit'. Because they actually have an understanding of how it works and realize its beyond transparent.

No I don't get your point. Superdelgates are unique to the democratic party which is why Trump has none. Also, super delegates are legal and a part of the US voting and political process so saying that Clinton is robbing Sanders isn't a true statement I don't think. Interesting though.

We've always been in debt. It goes up every year. And every year and we are like "oh my god". We started at a billion dollars with Reagan, then Bush, then Clinton, then Bush, then Obama. No matter who we vote into office next, the debt will climb.

It's not worth really discussing as it doesn't matter. Super delegates have never decided the Democrat's nominee. They have simply pledged their support for a certain candidate. Since Super delegates were created to give the establishment of the party a say in the process. Of course they always support the established candidate.

These delegates often change their support and it always coincides with the popular vote.

Should this process be changed? Yes. But not because it fucks one candidate over another. But because it gives ammunition to the other party and people that do not understand the process (see this thread).
