Let's see... You are correct. Donald Crump does in fact have a tax plan. Sounds great. He is going to reduce taxes all across the board, but mostly for the rich. Surprise! I couldn't see where he planned to cut spending in that document. Elsewhere I found

Department of Education and Environmental Protection Agency. So higher local taxes and more pollution.

Mr Trump says he will save $300 billion from Medicare. Expect more people to die. Read it and see how good his maths are.

What we do know is he's going to pay for building a wall, there's no way Mexico will pay for it. Going to drop more bombs on ISIS and put boots on the ground. While making the military so great, no one will dare confront them. Tell that to a suicide bomber.

The problem with cuts is. People lose jobs, stop paying taxes, buying stuff so more job losses and sometimes it transfers the cost to the private sector. Or makes life worse. Imagine cutting farming subsidies, $150 billion. That would push up the price of food. Cut education, more people have to pay for their kids education, cut environmental control, more get sick from bad water, etc.

Cutting the military rather than increasing it would save money. It would put a lot of soldiers and arms manufacturers out of business. Still a saving $1.41 million on a cruise missile or $4.3 million on a tank, plus the cost of keeping, replacing or using them is good business, so long as you're not making them. Right up until they're required.

He plans to increase the military.

His only sound policy is to reduce imports, seems that might fall foul of the WTO rules. So breaking them may be a very good plus. Hope the EU follows him.

@Barry, I actually watched some of Trump's speeches and interviews.

He doesn't come off as protectionist at all. I'm sure that there are plenty of anti-Trump articles out there that try to paint that picture.

But when I listen to him talk about trade with China and Mexico and other countries...it is all about making a good deal. He is the master of that. And just about all the stuff he is saying is right in his "Art Of The Deal" book.

So to have some journalist who never made any money in his life or never negotiated good deals, do a hatchet job on Trump...it falls on deaf ears.

This would be like a sports writer telling Peyton Manning how to be a quarterback. It's a joke for people who have never done what he has done...trying to pick it apart when they don't have any idea of what they are talking about.

Those that can...do, those that can't...teach, those who can do neither...write about it.

The West balancing trade with the Third World is essential. If not, many won't have enough money to buy an imported iPhone. The Third World has no real restrictions on the goods it can sell us. Because the 1% profit from the situation.

His ideas on Corporation taxes won't mean much. 10% is higher than 0%. The US and EU need to get together and ban companies transferring profits to what is little more than a lawyers office in a tax haven. Will the bought politicians, we have voted for over decades, allow it?

He's all empty talk. There's absolutely no substance to anything he says about "making deals". It's all, "we're gonna do this and we're gonna do that, and Mexico will pay for our wall, and we'll be the best...blah blah blah."
