Republican's heads suddenly explode around the country

Median household income rose to $56,516 in 2015, up 5.2% from a year earlier. And the poverty rate ticked down to 13.5% in 2015, from 14.8% a year earlier. Combined with an unemployment rate of under 5%.... What is the Republican party going to do now?

The last one is interesting. Try to find out what the rise in GDP was due to.

If the statisticians take all the earnings and divide them by the number of families. They get a nice figure. Take out the top 10%, and the truth is the rest are in the shitter. Due to both parties.

Employment may be up. There are new Starbucks and Macdonalds opening all the time. While companies like Fords, move to Mexico.

You hang on to that one piece of good news after how many years?
And you know the unemployment rate means nothing

It's no longer 2014.

If the unemployment rate means nothing, why have you always argued about how bad it was? And why have we used it as a baseline for how the economy is doing for the past forty years?

No, it was you that always praises it, I know better, I'm concerned about the Workforce Participation rate that shows the lowest rate in almost 38 years.

It was 65.7% when Barry took office, it's now 62.8 showing over 94 million people over the age of 16 not in the workforce

Of course you know better. Sure sure.

For example, you understand the workforce participation rate has little to do with the economy, right? The workforce participation rate has been on a downward trend for the pasty forty years, while the economy has not. The workforce participation rate has to do more with the age of workers. In very simple terms, the baby boom generation is aging out of the workforce....

It's always comical how when we discuss unemployment, you want to talk about something else - the "true" unemployment rate (which has also been cut in half in the past seven years) and now the "workforce participation rate".

I don't think Obama is our savior; I just want the economy to do good.

I watched them for a few minutes on Fox news trying desperately to spin it in a bad way, like they want the country to be in bad shape. God they suck.

They called it a trend during the Carter years too, till Reagan changed that and yes it has a lot to do with the economy. Sorry you don't understand the importance of the WPR

If you want to talk about economy, then how about this. is this a trend as well.

Clinton has promised to be a third term of Obama, we just can't afford that

I really hate hearing from Barry that everything is better, it's the slowest growth in history!

The last time I watched Fox News was back during the Ebola scare. At the time they had flown someone into the US to be treated and the coverage was frankly stunning. They pretty much blamed the breakout of Ebola in Africa on Obama, and then talked about how reckless, careless, and dangerous Obama was for allowing this person to be treated in the United States. It was seriously fucking odd.

In the end this person was treated for Ebola, and no harm came of it.

This is where you go sideways. You are comparing apples to lesbians here. This graph show us eight years of Bush and (almost) eight years of Obama. Bush inherited a great economy and at the very end destroyed it. Obama inherited an economy was in the shitter the worst recession we've seen during my life time and.... Obama did as good as Bush. You think this is a bad thing and I think this is nothing short of magical.

Clearly you are right. The economy got better under Obama, wages went up, and unemployment went down, and clearly we don't want more of that.

Wages are up, but Income remains 1.6% lower than it was in 2000, when it hit $57,790, and 2.4% below the 1999 peak at $57,909. Median earnings for men working full-time are still lower than they were in the 1970s

So celebrating because of something small happening is kinda of lame!

While I love a good conspiracy Clinton's emails aren't what gave up Steven's. Everyone in that town knew and most of that country knew where he was. Someone tipped off the press and they had a press conference of sorts when he arrived because remember he was an "ambassador" and they have no reason to hide.. Unless they are doing something they shouldn't be. That's what got him killed. The fact that he was running guns from there. I mean really. The guy shows up as an "ambassador" and all of a sudden large purchases of weapons are being made? It was a complete and total fuck up of a front. Yes I do believe Clinton as well as Obama are responsible because they knew what was going on with the gun running as well as did nothing when it all went down and then covered it up because they wanted to cover their asses but it had nothing to do with her emails. That said the lawsuit is frivolous even to me. Now the spy who got executed because of her emails is another story. And I'm sure he won't be the last.

Becuase employment = wages = your customers. Lower unemployment or wages and you're fucked.

What's happening is all the profits from the economy, are going to the very few. My graphs explain it perfectly. Now where do you think your income is based? In the 1% or the top 50%?

Those in the top 0.05% can afford to pay for company.

There you get it spot on. So what happens when all those people are thrown out of a job?

There are parallels to your system. Wages for the masses being barely enough or no jobs. With a tiny elite make billions and producing a great economy.

Chinese Farmer income to reach 11,000 (US$1,175) yuan in 2015

The average assembly worker in Shenzhen now makes 2000 RMB ($328) per month

But China added 2 million millionaires in 2014 alone, a nearly 50% increase from 2013.

China 213 Billionaires in 2015

This is a country that 50 years ago couldn't feed itself. Where did this progress come from?

Agreed Obama has done a good job given all the opposition against him. He made a huge mistake in getting involved in the ME. We have to learn to leave these guys to sort out their own countries or kill each other. Debt is due to too low taxes and too much spending. Both could be fixed, will you pay more in taxes? The US cannot cut enough to keep them as low as they are, it's the best part of trickle down.

Clearly you are right. The economy got better under Obama, wages went up, and unemployment went down, and clearly we don't want more of that.
Those facts haven't put more food on 50% of Americans tables. And that's what you refuse to accept.

So celebrating because of something small happening is kinda of lame!
Do you seriously think the Republicans are going to bring jobs that pay as decent wage to America?

Or force the top 20% to pay more in taxes so more can be given to those who are suffering?

If you do, explain how. It will beat Trump, but he might be a good start. Problem is he's bat shit crazy.

Why are the Republicans so Anti a Healthcare system like the rest of the modern world has? Let's face it you pay enough for what you have.

There is this official US government site: https://bea.gov
click there, and look on the right side, what does "real GDP" say?

I'll save you the trouble... 1.1%...do you know how bad that is? that's on a verge of slipping back into recessing.... but yea, economy is booming... good job Obama!

gfy is a great depiction of what type of people are against Trump and the ones who favor Trump.

On average the oblivious, uninformed bunch who are prone to believing propaganda are anti Trump, and the informed bunch who know (and are sick of) how the world of corrupt career politicians works are in favor of Trump.

Hillary Clinton wasn't running around the fucking compound with an ak47 you dummy. Stop watching so much Fox news.

You know I've been gone for a while, but you're still as stupid as ever.
Maybe you should watch some different news than ones that have admitted to favoring Clinton over Trump

think about that

Can't do this at XBiz, if you have a conservative view, they will gang up on you and ban you. Xbiz it seems has been taken over with moral relativism which has become an inbreeding of thought and those that dare to think outside their box have been exiled.

Yes, this is correct. Income remains less than it was in 2000 before the recession. But we are clearly heading in the right direction.

Why would we want "change"? Do we want income to go back down? Do we want unemployment to go back up?

The recession we had is not a "four or eight year problem". It's a ten to twenty year problem. There is no magic button to push to fix this.
