This is their MO. They do low down dirty things like not pay citizens until they're sued, scam citizens with a fake school until sues, setup a fake anonymous charity with no purpose but to funnel money, and every time when they're caught they act like they didn't know and blame someone else.

Trump's going to have to adapt to not blame others if/when he's POTUS. I think this incident with his sons was his last allowed money making fuck up. POTUS has a whole new set of rules & sophistication you have to adapt to.

So I think he will, and does, want to do things that will also make people like him. I don't doubt this for a minute. He knows the two are intertwined. The more famous he gets the money he can get. There are also side benefits of being famous that I'm sure he enjoys.

It will be interesting to see how he changes once the luster of being the new POTUS wears off and he is just that guy doing the nearly impossible job and being soundly criticized for everything he does everyday.
