Speculation, safe? asset haven, hedge against a possible stock market crash.

The "Trump' effect?

Why is the Dow Jones near 20,000?

Some of those stories are regarding cash holding prohibitions in India ...

what news would make you happy. since BTC is not traded in the open, the things that make it move are hard, if not impossible, to narrow down.

just make something up. like when the liberal media said hilary was winning, every single day, then she lost.

You need to familiarize yourself with what is going on in India and China just for starters. People are looking for a way to hide their money from the government. When some governments decide to eliminate certain denominations of bills, you have to turn them in for credit and the gov wants to know where you got it. Don't turn the bills in and you lose. Bitcoin will continue to rise so just buy it. There is a finite amount so it only gets rarer. The price in the 9 hundreds doesn't stop me from buying any more than the price of Google stock. But GFY is not the place for advice or knowledge. There are only a very few here that get it. Good luck.

No it is not, the amount of coins does not matter at all because you can have 0.1; 0.01;......0.0000000000001 etc.

You can have x amount of btc and one cost $977
You can have 10 times more btc and one would cost $97.7
You can have 10 times less btc and one would cost $9770
Would be exactly the same thing in all three cases. Denomination (or amount of full coins) does not matter AT ALL.

It is the same thing when ignorant people try to compare world currencies based on their values. While in fact it does not matter at all. You just add or remove zeros.
You can have "weak" currency where 1000 of it gets you a bottle of beer.
You remove three zeros and it is suddenly "strong" currency while in fact it is exactly the same thing, just now beer cost not 1000, but 1.
Turkish, Italian liras, Belarus rubles etc were examples. Denominations does not matter.

Bitcoin is the future.

It will be very rare to own even 1 bitcoin in the future as it will continue to raise in price. Most people now cannot even afford to buy 1 complete bitcoin.

There is a crash coming all around the world. I am a trump supporter but not even trump can stop the incoming crash.

Something strange is going on in the world.

Currencies all around the world are being devaluated.

Thousands of people are starting to wake up. They are starting to take out their money from the banks and converting it to bitcoin. When shit hits the fan, all that money is the bank will be worthless and as history repeats itself billions will be taken from poor and transfered the to the rich.

This is a never ending cycle as it always happens throughout history.

But with the interent and technology and now bitcoin. It is an excellent way to keep governments and banks from touching and profiting from your hard worked money.

Bitcoin will rise and someday be worth millions of dollars but by that time paper money will be worthless and we will purchase things with bitcoins not worthless american dollars.

Americans are in for a big awaaking in the coming years.

America has always been the superpower and the american dollar has always and is currenty the power money of the globe. But china and russia and many countries are starting to realize the american dollar is becoming worthless and this is the reason for the war in the midle east.

America no longer has the manufacturing all they have is war and when you take that away. They have nothing. With china rising.. its check mate. Trump knows this ans China must go.

Whoever has the money has the power. But now bitcoin gives us the power and takes it away from the greedy bankers who are destroying america and the world.

I like trump because what he talks about is right. He knows America is being destroyed. But he is up against some powerful 1% and a crumbling america economy. I cant pinpoint exactly what trump is up to. Weather he is legit or a fake. So far he seems legit. But there is nothing he can do.

If you are smart start transfering your wealth to bitcoin.

I no longer trust governments and the media.

Its one man for himself.

I,am glad i bought my bitcoin when it was 300usd.

As soldiers in the porn industry. You should all be supporting bitcoin. Visa and banks are expensive and judges you based on what porn you want to make. Bitcoin doesnt judge You are your own bank. The fees are next to nothing.

Bitcoin is one of the greatest things for the porn industry. You should be accepting it on your websites. Say goodbye to paxum, visa, ccbill and all those crummy paygates.

Bitcoin has arrived.

thank you

That's a huge rise reading the thread & now googling the BTC stats over the past years. Must be many rich players out there. Also asking where the profits are going to come from, how the increase has happened.

Is it Russian, Chinese & Spanish mafia laundering?

I know there's a huge amount of laundering over the internet using electronic currency

For anyone else wanting to act like a moron, when you don't use a currency, it's hard to know what the exchange rates are. I'm surprised I knew BTC was Bitcoin. It's only recently was chatting to someone about BTC. Alas, not using it, still not knowing the currency.

I use bitcoins to buy stuff from Computer Parts, Laptops, Electronics, and More - Newegg.com
Very handy.

But yeah, for now the main use of bitcoins is to buy drugs on darknet.

It will go down again and then up over and over. Some people forget that those who bought when bit coin was high in late 2013 still aren't making anything. I do wish I bought some when I had the chance at 70 bucks per coin but even if I bought 100 coins that would now be close to 100k
..great roi but it's not going to make anyone rich.

Looking good, last time I checked 7-10 days ago it showed 800 something. It will fluctuate up and down in time but BTC is here to stay.

they made over 1 million dollars from bitcoin? and in one shot or a few months, not several years? im sure there are some but most did not get in early enough.

what about the people who bought when it was 1200 a coin because everyone was being told it would to 10k a coin within a year?

I bought $500 worth at about 30/each and sold at 1100.00 I kept one coin. It still was one of my best ever investments on a dollar per dollar basis.

thats a huge risk. not one i would of taken but it certainly paid off. for ever winner there are a number of losers and i think everyone should keep that in mind when making such risky investments. i never ended up buying any coins as i had to wire money to some service to do it at the time it was 70 per coin but knowing what i do know, i wish i would of. i did manage to make 20k from selling a bitcoin related domain that i paid 10 bucks for a couple years previous. if i had a lot of extra money it would of been smart to invest when it was 500 a coin 6 months ago but its nearly impossible to predict.

Bitcoin on steroids - 1112.71 US Dollar

Makes me think how far up it can go before turning down again.
