The change in the stock market has nothing to do with Trump - and never will...unless congress enacts some really economy changing legislation....the President can talk all he wants but he doesn't spend or save money for the country

Do you really think Deutsche Bank AG is worth almost double what is was worth in late September? A lot of stocks are oversold -- smart money is out already. I was out of the equity markets November 5th due to mindless volatility coming right after the election. However, there was still money to be made (or lost). If it does cause a 20% rise in produce prices that could be a boon for local farmers. I live in a town that is surrounded by farmland. About 5-6 months out of the year we have a couple of produce stands and a every Saturday there is a farmer's market. You can get the best stuff there and it is all grown locally. It is about 20% more than the grocery store, but I will happily pay an extra $15-$30 per month to get something that tastes better and I know when I hand my money to them it is going right back into their farm and to feed their family and not to make a hedge fund manager rich.

The problem will be in the winter when they can't grow and everything is imported. Then I will be paying more and still getting the same quality of stuff. However, during those other 6 months the local farmers might find more people coming to them if the prices are now the same, but they have a better product.
