Look at the big picture.. it's a ploy keeping his wife there because it means Trump can get away with going to the Trump Tower where his "business" is run from. In the interview Trump mentioned her coming over on Thursdays (if I recall correctly) and staying for the weekend. So almost half a week.
Ps: He is a player, not a family type so not sure what is the big deal, especially when he has such a work load.
