I agree whole heartedly, now think 20 families of people of lower statutes or economic situations that are fleeing from Syria. Most people I know don't want the refugees to move her permanently. They want to help them with a safe place to go so they can escape the war zone that is their home. They want them to have somewhere secure to live until it is safe for them to go back to their country.

To me there is a big difference between a refugee and an immigrant.

In 1993 we peaked with the number of refugees we took in at 142k, and since then we've been taking in on average 75k per year. Just to round things off, let's just say we've taken in 75k refugees per year for the past twenty-five years... That's nearly two million people. Where are all of these angry hostile people?

Yes and Yes. I also live in a part of the world that accepted a large number of people from Asia 100s of years ago. They live in ghettos, uneducated, low paid and maintain a different culture. Lived in East London in an area that was flooded with Muslims, they refused to fit in and preferred being apart and change the culture of the area.
