Question for the gamer doofuses.. 1080gtx card in pcie 2.0 slot
I found a lot of conflicting idiots on this subject
I thought that PCIE 2.1 16x wide slots should be plenty of bandwidth for a gtx980 or 1080 But this guy with the T5400 says he can't get the fps he should get. Not even half. I think maybe the E5450 are the bottleneck What do you geniuses think ?? Thanks |

His CPU probably sucks, pcie 2 is plenty bandwidth for a 1080gtx and wouldn't cause too much of a slowdown...

I put two E5450 in there
It's an older architecture but they're 3.0ghz quad cores with 12mb cache |
