(CNN)President Donald Trump's phone call Tuesday to the widow of a soldier killed in action in Niger has, somehow, turned into a she said/he said situation.

The "she" is Florida Democratic Rep. Frederica Wilson who said she was present when Trump called the widow of Sgt. La David Johnson and allegedly told her of her late husband "he knew what he signed up for, but I guess it still hurt."

And he is absolutely right! I my country all soldiers are amateur ones. Every man here must serve in army and he is not being paid for that. Only officers and special forces get paid (you must deserve literally with your blood to be one of them). When a draft soldier dies it's a tragedy because he didn't choose his fate. When a paid mercenary dies - it's his decision. He was paid for playing this game - feel nothing for these guys. All the US soldiers are professionals - live by the sword, die by the sword. If it was possible to make them understand, they wouldn't need to be told in the first place because they'd be on the right side of the argument. Instead of making a phone call and then being there when the bodies landed in the United States, he did... NOTHING. He was called out on it, turned it into a political football, and only then did he make the phone call - and he fucked that up too. Everything he did here was wrong and disrespectful at every turn.

This is politics 101. When something like this happens you call the family, release a statement, greet the bodies when they arrive at Dover, and then invite the family / spouse to the White House. Obama was there when the bodies came back from Benghazi. On the other hand, Trump did NOTHING, tried to correct it after the fact, and then fucked that up.

I have to imagine that if the job description includes such things as guns, explosives, rocket launchers and the possibility of having those things aimed at you that anyone agreeing to take the job understands that there's a good chance they're going to get killed.

My advice to anyone that doesn't like the idea of having someone try to kill them on a daily basis that they should pursue a career as a librarian.
