I know exactly why they leave, but how is building a wall going to change that, much less stop it? If I was Mexican or from one of the other SA countries then I'd do the same thing they do. No wall would stop me..

Also there is another issue at play.. Its a issue no wall will fix either.. Mexicans occupied much of the US before it was the US. This is fact.. Spanish was spoken in most of the western states long before English.

The simple fact is we invaded and took their land by force.. There is a lot of cultural stigma involved with that, where many of these people still feel they should have a right to come here and you can't remove that by building a wall.

If you want to fix illegal immigration then you have to rebuild Mexico's economy. Get them jobs in their country and they won't come to ours.. Its very simple..
