What's so surprising about this? Many kids at this age can't guess time. With age they will learn.

Today kids are born in Whatsapp time. Ask them anything about phone, or feature you don't know how to operate, they will do it in seconds.

It's not that kids are not intellegent, it's just that they don't find it interesting.

Story on the news on Saturday said kids can't tell time due to digital clocks. I thought the same, what are they teaching in kindergarten? Are parents so dumb they don't realize the entire world doesn't need electricity to survive?

I showed it to someone just now. Without mentioning why, I asked her if it was wrong.

“The black people are too poor to afford digital clocks so the black kid sees old clocks at home.”

I could not believe someone would think that way I never thought of racism when viewing it , just that the kid was not dumb.
