So it gives me cancer AND doesn't keep the egg from sticking to the pan...that's just adding insult to injury.

From my link above.. seems nothing is safe, maybe clay...

Cast iron: "So much iron leaches into the food that in the old days, cooking in cast iron was recommended to treat iron deficiency anemia," says Dr. Blaylock. But too much iron can lead to health problems. "It can precipitate rapid aging of tissues and bring on neurodegenerative disorders such as Alzheimer’s disease, Parkinson’s disease, and ALS," he says. "High iron levels can also cause heart failure, stimulate atherosclerosis, trigger diabetes, and increase cancer risk. I wouldn’t cook with iron."

yeah no. iron health supplements are in fact iron shards and shavings. DO you think a fully seasoned iron pan gets scrapped around enough cooking a hamburger patty to generate enough iron to cause an issue?

No idea, just going by what the article says. Claims stainless steel & ceramic are safe.

For years they've said Teflon coating was deadly. I used it except if it chipped or cracked. Every few years they come up a new revolutionary non-stick coating.

I like stainless steel for crisp crusts and searing. A spritz of olive oil spray or Pam works rather than butter.

It seems everything made needs a warning. I see lots of products are illegal in California only, according to their labels. Why they affect only one state on the left coast is a mystery. Californians are unique I guess.

Cigarettes cause cancer but the government allows sales with a warning. Why? All the tax money they make. If they didn't make bank, they'd outlaw cigarettes. Big business for tobacco-sniffing dogs and Cigarette Police. "You're fined one thousand dollars for smoking illegal substances. Pay or until paid, Cigarette Jail for you. Mandatory anti-smoking classes, morgue visits to see lung cancer deaths, and write ten thousand times, "I will never smoke a cigarette again."

😂

EVERYTHING, I am sure, can give you cancer but we're talking PROBABILITIES here not POSSIBILITIES.
